20k Reese Select Plug Hitch Recommendation for Trailer that Weight 16,500 lbs

Question:

I currently have a Reese Pro series 16K fifth wheel hitch. I just upgraded my trailer to on that has a GVWR of 16,500. The trailer has a 19K sidewinder pin box. Do I need to replace the complete hitch or just the head?

You would need to replace the entire hitch. The Reese Select Plus hitch part # RP30081 would be a great choice that would give you plenty of capacity and would work well with your Sidewinder.
