Using Rack'em # RA20 Trailer Dolly for Trailer With Coupler for 2 Inch Ball
Question:
I am interested in your Rackem trailer dolly but it has a 1 7/8inch ball while my trailer has a 2inch ball coupler - is this a concern? My boat + trailer is pretty light and probably wieghs 1500 pounds max.

No worries. A larger ball is honestly not necessary. For a dolly that's being used to transport a trailer around at slow speeds it's not so important to have the same size ball as what the coupler on the trailer requires. That is why all the dollies that we carry have a 1-7/8 inch ball. It is the smallest size and will fit all couplers that take a 1-7/8 inch or larger ball.
