Re: the optronics multi function tail with the license plate mount: The license plate mount tabs are against the trailer and difficult to access the back. What type of hardware/screws are these designed to use? Thanks in advance.

There is no one particular type of hardware that's intended for use.

I'd remove the lens, which will allow you to access the hardware holding the lamp to the camper. You can remove the lamp from the camper, then attach the license plate to the tabs. You'd then re-install the whole thing back on the camper as one unit.
