Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a screw pin bow shackle. This shackle serves as a connection point for two pieces of rigging equipment. It works as a gathering point for slings and overhead lifting applications. It's great for industrial and agricultural applications. Also used frequently for off-road applications when it comes to connecting ropes, straps, and chains. The U.S.
construction of galvanized alloy steel, so it's very strong and durable. It also does a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. The screw pin design allows for a quick connection and disconnection. A few measurements to mention for you real quick, when it comes to the pin diameter, right here in the center, that's 5/8 of an inch. The actual shackle diameter printed right on there engraved, 1/2 inch. Working load limit is 2 tons or 4000 pounds.
And the usable space, I took a measurement from inside edge to inside edge, going side to side at the widest point, and got a measurement of an inch and 1/4. I then took a measurement from the top of the pin to the bottom of this point right here, so that space is 1 and 7/8. And the opening, right here where that pin goes, edge to edge, inner edge to inner edge is about 13/16 of an inch. And that's gonna do it for today's look at the screw pin shackle.
