Today we're taking a look at the low profile handle for Reese fifth-wheel trailer hitches. Now this handle fits your Reese M5 fifth-wheel trailer hitch. It features a nice ergonomic design. So, that's how we grip the unit right here, making it very easy to reach and comfortable to operate. It's a nice large grip, and it has this little indention right here, which gives just a natural point for your fingers to rest, on that blue area there.Now, it attaches the same way as your original handle, using the same hardware. New hardware is not included.
It's made from a durable steel construction, and it has protective finishing, to keep it safe from rust and corrosion. I took a measurement of the overall length. I had some initial issues with threading the bolts due to the threads being painted. Etrailer was very helpful and easy to work with to solve the problem. It’s been a year now using the hitch and I can say it is easy to use unlike my prior hitch. I recommend this hitch!
Needed cause the handle that came with hitch would not allow my cover to close.
Great option to change to. I replaced my stock handle with this one and it fits under my bed cover fine, and I can still reach in and grab the handle. Highly recommended if this solves your issue.
