Ellen: Hey everybody, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a really quick look at the lithium-ion rechargeable battery. This is an 1865 cell, so it's kind of a slightly bigger battery than a double-A. It's used a lot of times in flashlights or laptops, or really any kind of device that has a high drain or that's using a lot of power and draining and needs to be charged and recharged even at half drain or anything like that. The thing that's nice about these, this style of battery, is that it typically does really well with that kind of use. It can be charged and recharged even if only partially drained and not create a memory or have that kind of loss of being able to be fully charged.So, let's take a little closer look at it and I can give you some measurements to make sure that this is the right fit for your device. So again, the type of cell is a 18650 or 1865 or 18650.

However, you want to look at it. It does have a 2,600 milliamp-hour capacity, and you can recharge this up to 1200 times, whether it's fully or partially charged. The voltage rating for this is 3.7. Overall size, it's about 2 3/4" long and then about 3/4" in diameter. It doesn't come with a charger so you will have to provide that on your own, but that's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the lithium-ion battery.
