Today we're going to take a look at the K Source replacement driver's side electric mirror with the heat, turn signal, memory and power fold functions. Now this is a custom fit part. Put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show you if this'll work for your application. Now this side view mirror is a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your vehicle.
You can see it is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. It does offer the power remote capability where you can adjust your mirror face position with the factory power controls that are inside your vehicle. Also offers heated mirrored glass, which will clear frost and ice, help reduce fogging. On the back, it gives you the amber light.That'll flash when your turn signal is activated. It does offer power folding to allow you to fold the mirror in using a control inside your vehicle and the mirror will also fold when it's struck to prevent breakage.
You can see if it's hit it might just give away like that and all you have to do is pop it right back out and this does offer also the memory function. The car's computer recognize the preset mirror position. This does use an OE grade flat glass with first surface plating to reflect clear images. The front of the glass itself is plated with reflective chrome and it is a flat lens. So it does reflect the true representation of the object size in the mirror.
This is all in a nice durable plastic housing with a textured black finish. The cover on it right here can be painted to match your vehicle if you prefer.It is an easy no drill installation, has the same footprint and the mounting points as the factory mirror and this mirror does plug into your existing electrical wiring. Few specs on this, this is designed to replace the original equipment part number of 876101U050. It is for quantity of one driver's side mirror and a couple of notes on this mirror. The power remote capability, the heated glass, power folding and memory functions and the turn signal will work only if your vehicle already has those functions and this mirror does not support the BSDS, which is the blind spot detection system.
