Today we're going to review part number KS62026G. This is the K Source electric and heated replacement side mirror for the drivers' side with the black and the chrome finish. Now, this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1999 to 2002 Chevrolet and GMC and Cadillac trucks and SUV's with electric mirrors and heating. Now, what I would recommend, because it fits a bunch of vehicles, I would recommend on a custom fit part, is to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now, this is a side view mirror, which is a direct replacement for the drivers' side factory mirror on your vehicle. It is molded after the manufacturer's original look and fit.
It does have the power remote capability, which means it will adjust this mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle and it also has the heated mirror glass, which will clear frost and ice and reduce fogging. One thing I do want to make sure that this will only work with electric and heated if your vehicle already has those option. You just want to make sure of that. They use and oh 8 grade flat glass, has a first surface plating to reflect clear images. The front of the glass is plated with a reflected chrome. It is a flat lens to reflect the true representation of the object size.
It is a break away design, meaning that the mirror will fold when it's struck to prevent breakage. It has a nice durable, black plastic housing and you can see the chrome finish also. It is an easy, no drill installation. You can see right here, the same foot print and mounting points will be as your factory mirror and the mirror does plug in to your existing electrical wiring. This part is used to replace the original equipment part numbers of 15179829, 15179832, and 15056061. This part is for the quantity of 1 drivers' side mirror.
