Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a brief look at these Bestop chrome replacement hood latches for the Jeep Wrangler, 1942 to 1995. Now, these Bestop hood latches are going to fit your 1942 through 1995 Jeep CJ, YJ, Wrangler and Scrambler. And these latches are spring-loaded, and they've got quite a bit of strength and tension there, and they're going to pivot to hold your hood into place. So you're gonna attach these to the side of your hood, and then these are going to latch right into place. And you're gonna receive everything that you need to replace your hood latches. So you're going to get two replacement hood latches, two keepers for securing the latches as we mentioned.
And you're gonna get eight bolts and eight nuts. And the chrome is really going to compliment your Jeep nicely. However, we do also have this kit available in a powder-coated black. So on your screen, I am including the black versions of these hood latches. And you see that item number on your screen, you can just put it in the search field of our website, and it'll take you to the black version of these latches.

Everything was fine. The only reasons I didn't give "excellent" was that no lock washers were included and the top of the hooks were buffed, not high shined like the shaft, base and receiver.
