Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Taylor Made Safe Step Dock Step. This is going to provide two steps for you to make it much easier for you to get into and out of your boat from your dock. This is made here in the USA of a polyethylene construction so this is gonna be very durable. It's gonna hold up well. You're not gonna have to worry about molding and rotting, that sort of thing.

It does have a 300 pound weight capacity and I'm pretty close to that myself. Weigh about 280 most days. So I'm gonna set this up so you can kind of see how this works under my weight. So as I step up on it, you can see, it's not giving under my weight at all. It feels very stable and secure and so I don't feel like I'm teetering or wobbling at all on this.

So I do feel very safe walking up these steps. And you can see, we do have these 14 and a quarter inch by 3 and 3 quarters inch pads with texture on them. So that's going to give us more traction as we're stepping up so we don't have to worry if our feet are wet from being on the water. It's still gonna provide plenty of traction for us to get up and come back out. We do have this inch and a half flanged lip that will allow us to get this mounted onto our dock.

They do have pre-drilled 1/8 inch holes here around that lip. And then they do include hardware, some galvanized screws there so that we can get this mounted on our dock to provide even more stability and make sure it's not gonna scoot around on us or anything like that. So it is gonna be a very stable step for you. Like I said, it is that polyethylene construction so it is gonna be UV resistant. Very easy to clean with soap and water if it we're to get dirty.

Can hold up really well for you. So it's gonna last you a nice long time. Do want to give you a few dimensions so you can make sure that this is gonna fit where you want it to. So probably the most important for you is gonna be the height. So if we look here on the side, you can see it is right about 17 inches tall. Gonna put it on its side here so you can kind of see a better overall. Our width, we're looking at about 23 and a half inches. Our depth is going to be approximately 26 and a half inches. So again, you're width about 23 and a half, your depth about 26 and a half. You can see on the backside here that it is open. So we can use that as storage if we wanna store some life jackets or something like that in there and we have that option. And this does come with some instructions to help you get it installed, but very simple, just putting those screws through onto your dock. So if you are looking for a way to make it easier to get into and outta your boat, this is gonna be a very stable, sturdy option for you. That completes our look for today.
