Hassle-Free Installation
Each JetStream crossbar has a bottom channel that allows you to mount it to any of the Yakima StreamLine towers - BaseLine, RidgeLine, SkyLine, or TimberLine. The rubber strip in the channel can be cut down to the exact size needed for installation and then re-installed in the channel. This helps keep dirt out of the bar and reduces wind noise.
Etched measurements along the bottom channel help you center the bar on your roof. Simply use the ruler on each end of the bar to ensure the towers are spaced properly in the channel.
Once you have the correct measurements, install the brackets in the bottom channel, set the bar on top of your towers, and tighten it in place with the torque tool (included with your towers).

The BaseLine's BarBed is specifically designed to work with Yakima's entire line of crossbars.

You should not have any problems with the roof on your 2019 Toyota Highlander. When Yakima redesigned their towers for naked roofs they add two additional adjustments, toe and pitch. A Yakima rack on a 2019 or a 2020 Toyota Highlander will have front tower pitch measurement of 6º and the rear tower pitch measurement of -6º. I contacted Yakima directly and they informed me that the older Q Towers will not fit the 2009 Honda Fit. You will need to rebuild your tower, though an older Yakima Round Bar will still be useable.
To replace the roof rack for your vehicle, you'll need:
- Yakima BaseLine Towers, part # Y28TR
- RoundBar SL Adapter for Yakima Towers, part # Y03536
- BaseClip Fit Kit for Baseline Roof Rack, part # Y06145
- BaseClip Fit Kit for Baseline Roof Rack, part # Y06153
