Specs:
The bases of these Rhino Rack legs easily mount into your Rhino-Rack RTC- or RT-style roof rack tracks with included hardware. Just slide the nuts into the tracks, line up the mounting plates, and bolt the bases down. After this initial setup, you can leave the bases in the tracks.
Molded inserts help keep out dirt and provide a finished look when there are no legs and crossbars installed. To install a leg, simply remove the insert.
Once you've set up the bases, installing and removing your roof rack is easy. The Quick Mount legs have an integrated trigger system that creates an easy, tool-free installation.
To install a leg in a base, pinch and slide the internal triggers together.
Lower the leg onto the base and slide the internal triggers apart to secure the leg in the base.
Once the leg is installed in the base, replace the cover and lock it to help secure the system to your roof.
These brackets install in the ditches of your vehicle's naked roof. Ditch brackets provide permanent fixed mounting points for Rhino-Rack RLT600 Quick Mount legs so you can create an aftermarket roof rack. Includes 6 brackets and hardware.

Hi there platform and roof rack owners. Today we're gonna be taking a look at Rhino Rack's quick release feet. These legs are designed to work with either platform racks or Rhino Racks, Vortex Aero crossbars, and they will connect to run RX RTC or RT style roof rack tracks. We'll show you the quick release in action here. We've already got our platform rack installed. We're going to go ahead and insert our key and remove our cover.
And here you can see the quick release mechanism inside. To release it you'll simply just squeeze these two pieces together and then once you squeeze them if you actually push inward just a little bit it'll hold it in place in the unlocked position. We're going to repeat that at all the feet. Once we've got it released all the way you can see here that the system simply just lifts off and here you can see the quick release tab. So I'm gonna go ahead and release them so you can see how they work.
They pop out, which would hook it into the portion that is bolted down to the top of your vehicle. We're going to go ahead and squeeze them back together. Make sure that all of them are pressed in. We can then take our accessory with our feet at the appropriate location drop it down into place, and then just pull those out. Once you pull them out you do often have to just get a little bit of a tug downward to make them pop into place.
And the best part about having feet like this versus your traditional style roof rack feet is when you want to take your platform or roof rack off it's as simple as squeezing those tabs and just setting it in your garage. Putting it back in place is just as easy as you saw versus the traditional style. You're either going to have to take out hardware underneath or on top. And it's just a lot longer of a process. And you have parts you have to keep track of afterwards, all that hardware.
With this you don't have to worry about any of that. All of the sets can be purchased with matching locks. So that way you can have one key that will work with all of your feet. And that completes our look at Rhino Rack's quick release feet for roof rack and platform racks..

Sold as a set of 6.I bought Rhino-Rack Heavy Duty Crossbars because they are made to support Rhino-Rack products, including the Batwing Awning I had purchased for a RAM Promaster High Roof van. The crossbars work very well with the awning. However, I have discovered that Rhino-Rack does not provide a solution to attach non-Rhino-Rack products directly to the crossbars. For example, solar panels. There are fixed attachment points for racks on a Promaster. The distance between the crossbars is greater than the length of my solar panels. So I need to attach side rails to my crossbars for mounting my solar panels. Rhino-Rack does not offer side rails that can be attached to the crossbars. They only make baskets and brackets for specific items. They recommend going to licensed installers to get side rails installed. But I could not find an installer who is willing to help. They don't want the hassle and/or they don't want to jeopardize their standing with Rhino-Rack. So, I am left with having to come up with a solution on my own. Very frustrating.
eTrailer is always very helpful and tried their best to find a solution for me. But they were stymied, too.
If you just need Rhino-Rack Crossbars for other Rhino-Rack products, they are great. If you want to carry other manufacturer's products, look for something else.
Great quality product and a breeze to install. I like that they are simple to install and remove as my needs change.
The Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero kit for the 2019 Mercedes Benz Metris Worker van (no roof rails) is a perfect fit. The 3 racks are in perfect alignment with the spacer blocks and can be removed in about 3 minutes to take the van into the car wash.
Make sure you download the specific installation instructions from the manufacturer for the proper installation of the support legs.
Overall I like the rack. Aero bars are quiet, rubber grip strip on top is nice. Product is high quality. My only gripe is the mounting feet and it’s fit on the Mercedes Metris. Each foot is only able to utilize one bolt hole on the factory placed mounts. Using 2 per foot would be much better like in most other applications I imagine. But once it’s all assembled and installed it seems fine. Height spacer blocks are perfect, bars are all on the same plane. Looks good too! Etrailer also has real people working customer support who answer the phone and help you out. I highly recommend the rack and buying from etrailer!
etrailer is always my first choice when looking for my overland parts.
Big Truck Big RV brought me here. Thank you for that. etrailer is awesome!
Work great and look good. Easy to insta ll.
Great product! I have had no issues
Great product! No issues
Nice rack system, strong and durable. Used on a Ford e350 to mount solar panels. Only draw back, one of the L brackets that goes under the rain gutter was not bent square enough and this caused the bracket to slide off when tightened. I had to adjust this with a clamp and hammer, no issues since.
I got the roof rack mounted anyways. Better pics to come when it's all finished!
I’ve had this rhino rack for over 3 years and it’s been excellent on long road trips to the ski slopes. A year after my purchase, I realized that I was missing the plastic coverings that attached to the end of the bars and called their customer service to resolve the missing pieces. I was impressed with their quick response and seamless delivery.
This rack works perfectly on my Nissan Versa for carrying my two Perception Sound 9'6" kayaks. The Rhino-Racks look good to me. The kayaks can rest directly on the rubber pads on the rails, unlike the Yakama racks I had in the past that had bare pipe rails. Also, I expect I can buy parts to adapt this product to a different car without having to buy new towers. I am sorry there are not hooks or loops to attach bungees when carrying lumber. They are noisy in the wind, but less so when carrying the kayaks.
For the most part easy install, very straightforward, inserting the rubber into the rails needed some effort. The video on your website of the install has the rubber already inserted.
Amazing product. Fit, finish, quality is absolutely amazing!
Have hauled our bikes all over MI, through the UP, and back. They never moved. Rack is super simple to remove from the rails to grant full access to the PU bed.
I think this is one of the Best options out there for taking your bikes with you while still having your covered bed space. I also can install a Ski box for the winter. Ski's in the box while gear in the covered bed.
These are the perfect racks for a low profile mounting of solar panels on my Sprinter van.
Kit was great, except my SnugTop cover required longer T-Bolts for mounting the tracks. The 1.5 inch ones provided were too short. It was a little tough sourcing T/Bolts that would work. It would have been nice if longer T-Bolts could have been an option from Rhino Rack.
Thanks to etrailer, I am ready to do some serious summer exploring with my 2013 Mazda 3! Rhino Racks, Malone top box, and Kuat bike rack!
I am normally a exclusive Amazon shopper, but etrailer gives equal or better service and has specialty items you just can't find anywhere else. The pricing is great also. This is my 4th order from them on this project and the response has been perfect and the shipping has been prompt. They even offered to take back an item that I did not need. I desperately wanted to mount my 19ft Kayak on my new RV and with some Rhino RT tracks, a Rhino Nautic kayak lifter, a few really heavy duty rivets, and some ingenuity, I was able to accomplish the task. I am replacing the current Nautic bars with the heavy duty bars. See the attached pictures.
Great product
I installed them on my 2020 GMC Sierra crew cab on the bed rails to use as a Conor rack, kayak rack bed tent .
Works great !
Here are some pics of the Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Roof Rack Crossbars - Silver - 50" Long - Qty 2 installed on my 2011 Honda CR-V.
That I recently purchased.
