Get the safest and most comfortable ride while hauling your camper with tie-downs that mount on the frame of your pickup. Great for your truck's looks: remove the arms from the brackets and you'll hardly know that the brackets are there.
Features:
If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity will sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush with the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not hauling your camper, and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

Needed to build a frame so side to side movement was minimized. The camper will sill walk back an inch or two but have a solution for that also. Torklift equipment is top notch and built to last. Works great!
Great engineering, fit and finish is awesome. Easy install if you have any mechanical ability at all. Love them
I added a Super Hitch to my truck so I had to replace the rear tie downs. Two bolts on each unit and easy to reach. Very well made and heavier than the torklift that were attached to the Ram hitch.
Quick shipping, exactly what I ordered. Price was comparable or slightly lower than retailers. Have ordered from etrailer.com before and was pleased with the service, so I am a repeat customer. Have to install on my truck before I can say more.
They work great
Thought live chat I was told the wrong ones to order. After talking to a representative on the phone they cleared it up but now I have to wait a few weeks since they are on back order.
Exceptional help to get the right part ordered and delivered ahead of schedule and a big thanks to Clinton for his installation videos.
These tie downs are very secure! I used them to secure my Lance 1020, and it was rock solidly mounted to the truck. Installation was not too bad, the directions were clear and easy to understand. I think the only special tool you need is a torque wrench. Overall I’m very pleased with them all around.
Easy instal works great with our Ram 3500. Paired with torklift fastguns makes attaching camper quick and easy, and secure.
Bolted right on. Had an issue with off-road clearance with the D2127 mounts because of the downward angle they take to clear the full length running boards I had installed on my truck. This resulted in damage to the mount itself (NFS roads can be kind of rough here in Wyoming) So my fix was to pull the running boards off, and order the D2126 mounts, which you will not loose any ground clearance with because they come straight out at 90° angle. Both the D2126 and D2127 mount in exactly the same spot. On the Driver's side one you may find it easier to chock your truck (My Ram 3500 is a 6spd Manual) and release the parking brakes to gain some slack in the cable that you have to work around getting the mount in position. My truck also has factory airbags, but both types of mounts can be used due to where they bolt on. So the only difference is that the D2127 angles down a little to clear running boards, and the D2126 comes straight out. And another thing on the D2127 because of the downward angle; with the Torklift springload turnbuckle you may find them a hair too short and it may require use of a quick link to have enough length to get the ends of the turnbuckle hooked...at least on my camper I did. Overall I'm please with both of these tiedown models for ease of installation, operation, and build quality. It was my own fault for damaging the original one going over a hump in the forest road that my truck didn't clear all the way.
And as to etrailer. I would definitely order from them again. I had trouble finding the D2126 on the website and called and was talking with a sells rep when I finally found them on the site. But he took my order over the phone anyway at around 1pm on Monday, got an email about three hours later saying they were shipped. Package arrived on my doorstep Wednesday. Very fast service and shipping.
Just info on my truck if you are looking for the correct front mounts to use: 2017 Ram 3500, 6sp manual, 8' bed, crew cab, 4wd, SWD, factory airbags, wheel to wheel running boards (D2127), no running boards (D2126)
Very pleased with TorkLift Tie Downs. Easy to install, only issue was I had to ream holes that long 1/2 in bolts went through. Looks very well engineered, fit perfectly to my Ram 2500. Very well made, arrived very quickly after order. Happy camper here!!
They work well. I'm glad I went with t hem....
Piece of cake install! Very happy with these!
Great product, but even better service from etrailer. Had a small issue finding the order, but etrailer customer service quickly helped me locate it. Great follow thru!
