Adam: Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the ClearPlus winter wiper blades on our 2020 Chrysler Pacifica. So whether you're just replacing your existing wiper blades just because they aren't really getting the job done, or you plan on having an extremely brutal winter and you ended up just wanting to go with the winter version of your wiper blades, I do think these are going to get the job done. To be honest, if you're not in a climate where it's going to snow heavily, and stuff like that a lot, I don't necessarily think that the winter blades are going to be for you. These are going to be ideal for those areas to where it's going to snow a lot, you're going to have a lot of that snow that you're going to have to brush off. These are going to do a great job of getting your windshield clear of any snow or anything like that.But of course, it is still going to work with the rain that you're going to see as well, but these are mainly made for those extreme winter conditions.

So these are going to look relatively similar to your factory wiper blades. Honestly, in my opinion, wiper blades, as long as it just gets the water off, great. I'm not really too concerned about the look of it, but these do match the same color of our original wiper blade, so they don't really stick out, you're just going to have a lot more winter capabilities for whenever you have a lot of snow hitting the ground. Again, we do have the 20 inch for the passenger side and the 26 inch for the driver's side.So the first thing that we want to do is, of course, remove our old blades. And to do that, we're going to have a little tab down here.

You can either do it with your fingers, or if it's a little too tough, we can grab a tool to get that done. So stick it in there, and just pop that tab up. By doing that we're going to be able to rotate it just like so, and then we're going to be able to push down and slide that out.So now what we want to do, I'm just going to go over just the differences in these two. This is the OEM one, we're going to have two little cracks here on each side, and that's going to help it contour to the windshield. Our new one is going to have that, but the better end of this one is just the fact that it's going to have a coating on it.

If it is heavy snow, heavy ice, these little cracks are going to get filled with ice, and they're not going to really flex as well, which is going to hinder the amount of coverage that you have on your windshield. So luckily with our new one, all those joints are going to be covered up by this little sleeve here, and we're not going to have any holes or anything like that for that snow and ice to seep through. So it's definitely going to do a good job of brushing off all that snow and keeping it all off, all while being able to still contour towards the shape of our windshield.And it's going to be really easy to install it. You can just pull this back a little bit to get the angle that we need, just line it up like that. We're going to pull on it, and it's going to snap into place, and then we are done.

It's going to be the same exact installation process for the other side, but the other side is just going to be the 26 inch, and this was the 20 inch.
