Designed for use with johnboats.I recall seeing a request for customer photos somewhere. I know this is not exactly a correct set-up, but it's what my budget allowed. Anyway, on my 1st trip with this boat, the V shaped roller that came with the trailer (bought used last year) basically rubbed the boat raw, partly because the trailer isnt exactly straight. I had thought of the wood block first, so I may end up just putting a towel between the stop block and the boat. Sorry, I lost some of the "before" pics.
The empty trailer has the old roller, but to explain, I raised the bunks and made them flat, then bolted 2" x 8" & 2" x 6" redwood slats across. It fits like they were made for each other.
But good product, timely shipping, price was competitive.
I installed it in place of a V type roller, because the boat is a flat bow Jon Boat.
It was a perfect fit & it spreads the load across a wider area to minimize stress on the hull.
The rubber is kinda hard , so I’ll add a stick on pad where it contacts the hull.

Fits great works great. Should be used for every Jon boat trailer.
Works perfect on our Carolina Skiff. The trailer always had rollers which break down since the skid has a flat front. This works great.

Since my 16' aluminum Starcraft has a "flattened" upper bow from where a previous owner tightened the winch with stop against hull prior to pulling boat/trailer out of deep launch; this "jonblock" with flat surface was just what I needed. thanks.

As a follow up, the rubber jonblock on front of boat trailer continues to work just fine a year after purchase. Totally satisfied with this replacement of original trailer boat stop pad.

Still working great. The old hard bumper was dinging up my jon boat, but the rubber one from etrailer works great.
Great product at a great price. My problem was, with the roller on the front of my trailer and all the weight of the motor, trolling motor, and battery on the back of my boat, when I would travel down the road and hit bumps the front of my boat would jump up on top of the roller and then the winch strap would be loose and allow the front of my boat to slide back and forth. It fit very well where the original 3" roller was and even though I haven't tried traveling with the block in place, at least I can pull up on the front of my boat without it jumping over the block. I expect it will work exactly like I want it to.
A must have for jon boat trailers. I purchased a new trailer and it came with a v-hull roller. My boat was getting wear marks from the tiny bit of surface space actually touching the bow. No matter how tight the winch was, the bow would still move side to side going down the road. This was taking the paint off and creating shiny spots. Thanks to this proper jon boat bow stop, my boat is secure for travel with no more bow wear.

Continental JB1612 Trailer and a Tracker 1542 Jon Boat. I have no idea why these don't come as standard. etrailer had far and away the best deal. Most places wanted some ridiculous price and/or an exorbitant shipping fee. Why I keep coming back to etrailer. Less than five minutes to switch out.
Great fit for my jon boat. Trailer had been fitted with a roller bow stop, which did not fit the jon boat whatsoever. The jon block fit perfectly on the trailer and mated up flush and secure with the boat.
Quick receive on this item. It bolted right on and is an improvement for a flat front Jon boat.
I live on a river and have to speed onto the trailer and needed this bumper to spread the impact area on the bow. Not that it hits that hard, but you never know.

It has been cold, even down here in southern Oklahoma, so I did not get to put it on my trailer until today. I works great and I am very pleased with the product. I have included some pictures of the application that I am using if for as a lady named Laure asked for them. I tried to find a block locally, but they all wanted to sell me the entire transom saver and not just the part I needed. This works great and saved me a considerable amount of money. I will order parts again when and if the rollers on my boat trailer need replacing. Thank you!

this bow stop will fit perfect.
The rubber bumpers were exactly as advertised. They arrived well packed and shipped quickly. I looked for these in my local area and could not find them. I shopped the internet and found etrailer.com. The items were reasonably priced, in stock and easy to order.I'm very happy with them and will do business with etrailer.com again.
I received a call stating that my part was back ordered from etrailer and a lady asking if I still wanted it. This is the first time a company has ever done that. Most impressive. They actually got the part to me earlier then they said. Two thumbs up.

I was very impressed with the great service, excellent products, and end results after assembling my boat trailer with the parts ordered from Etrailer. Shipping was fast. Very reasonable prices. I ordered three bow guards. One to replace the one on my baker trailer that broke and caused damage to one of my drift boats. I found your company on the internet, and called and talked with Angie. She was very helpful and friendly, and and took care of my needs completely.

Worked as advertised to replace old stops on our trailer. Great service as usual!
No problem with etrailer but USPS is terrible it took 12 days to get package 300 miles for what I payed for shopping there is no excuse for taking that long ups or Fedx would have it in 3-4 days
I own my boat for 18 years, Needed a replacement for my boat's stop on trailer. I took old one off and saw the name on it. Yates. Also the model number was molded in the product itself. I looked on the internet ,and located e-trailer.com found what needed made a phone call and my stop was on the way. Five minutes to take off, Five minutes to order. Five minutes to put on. shipped and received before the shipped date promised Five stars excellent service.
