When you go to wire up the lights of a gauge so that they come on when the headlights or running lights are on you have to find a circuit that comes on only when the headlights are on.

I looked up the owner's manual for your vehicle and found the headlight fuses are located in slot 3 and 4 of the fuse box that is located in the engine compartment.
