There are adapters that allow for a Roadmaster tow bar to be adapted to Blue Ox base plates, but unfortunately they are not compatible with the Stowmaster tow bar. I attached a chart that details all of the adapters and their applications.

I've provided a photo of the harness that might be under the vehicle. It's usually found above or next to the spare tire, and will have a plug in the end of it to keep out road debris. The plug might not be present on vehicles not equipped with the tow package. If you find the plug part # 118384 would be an easy way to install a 4-pole trailer connector. The Hopkins # HM40975 would provide both a 7-way and a 4-pole.
