  • Recommended Axles for Classic Camping Trailer Measurements
  • Based on the 66 inch on center frame measurement there isn't a good axle fit for a through axle based on the spring seat locations needed. My recommendation for a custom fit is the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System w Electric Brake Hubs - Straight Spindle - 3,500 lbs # A35RS545E. The amount of leafs does not typically matter.

  • The difference between the Demco # DM62VR for disc brakes and the Demco # DM72VR for drum brakes is the pressure each one operates at so that why they cannot be interchanged. Disc brakes require 1600 PSI where drums like what your trailer has require around 1000 PSI. For a surge brake actuator compatible with drum brakes and a reverse lockout solenoid I recommend going with the Dexter DX7.5 Drop-N-Go Brake Actuator - Drum Brakes - 2" Ball - Zinc Plated - 7,500 lbs # 099-175-00 which can...
