The Curt # C56584 you'd looked at would work perfectly. At the back of the existing 7-way, find where the tow package harness plugs into the back of the 7-way. There will be a gray clip that you will slide out, which will allow you to unplug the harness from the back of the 7-way. Then, you'd plug the Curt # C56584 inline with that connection. It's a very simple installation that should only take a few minutes.

I have a solution for you, but the # 3064-P adapter is only a fit on the HD models of GM trucks, so it would not fit on your 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 LD.
