It sounds like your exhaust was damaged by the installer when they installed the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7322 on your 2016 Honda HR-V. There are a few welds in your exhaust which could have cracked if they did not properly support the exhaust. There is also an exhaust flange just in front of the rear suspension.
