It sounds like you have a short on the circuit for the right turn signal on your 5th wheel trailer.
If the 7-Way on your tow vehicle and your 5th wheel look good then you will want to start off by using a Circuit Tester # PTW2992 to test the pin in the 3 o'clock position on your tow vehicle side 7-Way (see attached picture). If you are getting a signal when you use your right turn signal then the problem is on your trailer.

The first thing I would do is check the 7-way connection on your truck. Make sure there is no debris or corrosion present and clean as necessary. It wouldn't hurt to go ahead and check out the connector on the trailer as well. Once this is done, go ahead and test the functions using a circuit tester like the # PTW2993. If you aren't getting power with the running lights on then you know it is on the vehicle side. If everything checks out it is a problem with the trailer wiring.
