Sounds like you intermittently get the trailer disconnect message you mentioned which to me would indicate that you have a dirty trailer wiring connector which you can fix easily by cleaning off the pins of the connectors with sandpaper. Or there might be a loose wire between the connector and your actuator which you'd have to just go over the circuit and fix as you find the problem. view full answer...
