To run the jack using 110V shore power, you'll need a bench-top type 12-volt power supply which you can easily find online. You'd also need a 7-way socket and pigtail like # 20024. If you choose a power supply with screw terminals on the front of it, the black pigtail wire would connect to the positive terminal and the white pigtail wire to the negative terminal on the power supply. That's a smart question, and because there is more weight and less stability at the rear of the trailer, install the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember for Standard Frame Hangers # MR33WR aft/behind the single axle on your trailer.
As for the installation, it's possible to do it one side at a time, sure, but it'll be more difficult as the trailer will be at a bit of an angle. If you can do so, I'd lift up the entire back end of the rig on jacks to install the # MR33WR. view full answer...
