The 3/8 inch chain would not be a problem but the hook could be depending on its size. If you can't run the chain through backwards or there are hooks on both ends of the chains you have then the hook needs to be less than 1-3/8 inches high and 2 inches wide (at any angle that would allow it to slip through the opening on # T355) for this to work.
