The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76023 and Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13293 will not require stabilizing straps. I have put in to have that note removed as Curt does not recommend the straps with this receiver. I recommend the Curt as it will be the easier receiver to install given you will not have to remove the bumper fascia to complete the installation.

Both the Hopkins # HM47365 and Pollak # PK12716 wiring adapters allow a tow vehicle with a 7-way blade-style trailer socket to connect to a trailer that is equipped with a 4-pole flat connector. Both plug in to the socket on the vehicle and provide a receptacle for a 4-pole flat trailer connector. The difference between them is that the Pollak adapter is a single piece while the Hopkins adapter uses two separate sections linked by a short length of wiring.

We have two hitch options for your 2020 GMC Acadia. We have the more hidden but harder to install Draw Tite part # 76023 and the easier to install but more visible Curt # C13293. Aside from that they have different weight ratings (but that doesn't matter because your vehicle is rated lower than both) and the install for both will look a little different. The Curt will be easier... view full answer...
