I checked directly with Thule and I am sorry but they show no roof racks fits at all for the 2002 VW Eurovan with naked roof. None of our rack makers offers a custom-fit rack options.
However, we do have roof rack systems that use tracks to hold and support the rack feet. These are made for camper shells/truck toppers. One such rack is the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System # Y02-490B which features quiet aero-style crossbars that will make less wind noise than round or square bar racks.

The RockyMounts BackStage Bike Rack # RKY10002 uses the swing arm that rotates out to the passenger side only. I do have an alternative solution for you but I just wanted to explain the reasoning behind this. While the swinging racks are a fantastic solution for camper vehicles like what you have, people use these for passenger-type vehicles as well.
