Hello Josh. The TieDown 660 Hydraulic Actuator is a surge brake actuator. The Dexter Adapter Module # DX35FR is only for electric-over-hydraulic actuators, so this is not going to solve your problem. If the brakes are not functioning, I would have to suspect a problem with the surge brake actuator or potentially a brake line. I suggest inspecting the trailer and the actuator. You will be looking for any clogged or damaged brake lines. Also check your actuator to make sure it is moving fluid... view full answer...
Mike, unfortunately there aren't any replacements for your GDC 80 brake actuator so you will have to replace it. I recommend going with the Dexter Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator # T4747200 which is made for disc brakes and has the same 8,000 lb capacity your current actuator has. view full answer...
Hey Jim, for your Tie Down Engineering 6,600 lb actuator I recommend the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator # DM72VR with the reverse solenoid # DM5836.
This actuator has a 7,000 lb capacity, works with 2" hitch balls and drum brakes, and will work with 3" trailer frames. view full answer...
The # TK71-756-00 is designed for Dexter brake actuators. The only way to identify it is with markings like the DJP you found. I searched for DJP brake cylinders and it came up as Wenzhou Dongqi Auto Parts. We do not have a replacement master cylinder designed for this. The only solution I can offer is a replacement brake actuator like the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator # DM72VR for drum or # DM62VR for disc brakes. view full answer...
Hey Dan; there isn't an actuator that will slide in place for a replacement of your Tie Down 80LP, you'd have to go with a new actuator. From what I can find, this actuator bolts onto a 3" wide channel tongue, so you can replace it with the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator w Electric Lockout # DX89FR. view full answer...
Hey Keith, it does look like we have replacement parts for Dexter UFP brake actuators like the Replacement Inner Member for Dexter DX7.5L Actuator # DX99FR which is the replacement inner member for Dexter DX7.5L and Legacy UFP brake actuators.
If you can let me know what actuator you have and what you're looking for I'd be happy to see if we have anything. view full answer...
As your 2008 Ranger Boat Trailer has a swing away tongue with the Tie Down Model 70LP brake actuator the Dexter Disc # DX73FR or Drum # DX67FR actuator is likely going to be your best option. Both of these are a weld on application so you would need to have your current actuator removed and the new one welded on in place on the swing away portion of the trailer tongue. view full answer...
This will depend on if you have disc or drum brakes on your triple axle boat trailer.
Disc Brake Kit # HS381-9067
Drum Brake Kit # HS381-9066
Each kit contains the correct electric over hydraulic actuator, 7-way wiring and breakaway components. If you can send me some images of your current coupler along with the weight of your trailer and boat I can make a recommendation for a replacement coupler. And depending on where you intend on mounting the actuator you may need a hose like the... view full answer...
It might be but I do not have any way of knowing what is currently on your 2018 Ranger Trail tandem axle trailer. If your Ranger boat trailer uses the Dexter DX7.5 Disc Brake Actuator, then the Replacement Inner Member for Dexter DX7.5L Actuator item # DX99FR would be the correct replacement inner member.
The outer housing on yours should have manufacturer's info stamped on it or a sticker to identify it. If you would like to email me this information directly I would be happy to confirm... view full answer...
If you need a replacement tongue that isn't something that we offer. You can see if the manufacturer offers a replacement since it looks like it folds. If they don't have a replacement you would have to take it to a shop that could add a new tongue along with a coupler hinge kit like # FHDPB330301 to keep the folding functionality.
I can't do much with the VIN but it does look like that has a Dexter A-60 in the end of it based on the pictures I found. If you're able to remove the actuator... view full answer...
You will need the Hydrastar Disc Brake Kit # HSE7K-T1 along with 4 Grease Caps # F001526 for your 2020 Grand Design 310GKR. The kit contains the correct hub/rotors, calipers, brackets, hardware, lines and actuator you will need. The 2020 and newer GM trucks will not require an Adapter Module # HBA-CAM but you will need to make sure the truck is up to date on the controller software and it is switched to electric over hydraulic mode. view full answer...
Hey William, thanks for reaching out!
The Replacement Orifice Connector for Dexter Actuators # T1209800 does not require a seal since the side that connects to your brake line is flared. For the other side we have the Replacement Gasket # T0774500 for the Orifice. view full answer...
Hey Erik, so if the coupler on your 2007 MasterCraft boat trailer is labeled a UFP or a Dexter actuator and looks like the # DX99FR then yes this inner member is correct replacement to get it working again. There isn't a way to look up what your trailer has on it so you would have to identify it first. view full answer...
Hey Sam, what replacement parts are you looking for exactly? We should have a lot of parts for your trailer like tires, lights, wiring components, jacks, actuators or brake parts. Feel free to send me more info and I am happy to see what we can offer you.
I am afraid we do not have a manual of any kind that we can send. It may be worth contacting Demco directly though. They may have something helpful for you. view full answer...
Hey Eddie, I do have an option for you but the closest axle we offer for what you're looking for is the Trailer Axle Beam with Easy Grease Spindles # e93GR which measures 94" at the hub face and 79" at the spring center.
Since this'll be used to replace a trailer axle with a 93" hub face, the wheels/tires are going to stick out a 1/2" more on each side At this point, the spring seats can then be cut and rewelded.
To convert your presumably surge brakes to electric, you're going to need... view full answer...
