Hey Tanya, thanks for reaching out!
To tow your trailer you'll need a ball mount with a 2" rise and for that I recommend going with the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # EBMK4. This gives you a 2-3/4" rise but that will still work for your application.
The Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer # MAL25FR can accommodate the Malone Pilot Trailer Bike Rack # MPG2100, but while the Storage Trunk # MPG481 will physically be able to fit inside the frame of your trailer, I don't believe you'll be able to... view full answer...
Yes, the Cut Q25 fifth wheel hitch part # C16049 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for the OEM pucks of your 2023 Ram 2500 short bed. While this says its' for the long bed truck it would fit just fine in a short bed truck as well.
Typically la short bed truck will need a slider hitch to provide enough clearance to make tight turns which is why this is listed for long bed trucks but if the trailer has an extended pin box and a tapered nose we have found that sliders aren't needed. view full answer...
Hey Chris, the release lever for the HitchMate Cargo Stabilizer Bar part # HE4016-4017 is on the outer tube on the end of it opposite of the pad that touches the truck bed so its distance from outside of the truck bed will be based on how wide the bed is. If it's a narrower bed (closer to 59 inches) you'd be able to reach it pretty easy. But if it's a wider bed it would be closer to the middle of the bed an harder to reach.
Check out the review video link I attached for this for you to... view full answer...
Hey Jeff,
I checked directly with BedSlide for you, and that part is for 2017-2019 model year Ford F-150's and not the 2022 Ford F-250 with a 6'9" bed. There actually isn't a no-drill bracket kit for the F-250, though each BedSlide does come with the mounting hardware needed for the aluminum bed of your '22 Ford F-250. Here are the fits for different capacities of the BedSlide that fit your 6'9" bed:
- 2,000 lbs: BedSlide Sliding Truck Bed Tray w/ T-Tracks - 5" Rails # BE62WR
- 1,500... view full answer...
Hi Jim, so in our experience with the Thule Insta-Gater Pro Truck Bed Bike Rack # TH93VR the bike will be stable with very little movement. You may a small bit of movement of the front tire when going over bumps but nothing severe at all. You could add some stabilizer straps like part # SA3033 to help keep the tires in line with the frame at all times. They might be nice to have especially if you plan to be taking long trips with your bike. The straps are definitely not required though.... view full answer...
The TruXedo Elevate Truck Bed Rack System # TX26NV is going to be the best ladder rack to use with the BAK Revolver X4s Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK92VR. This rack will mount with the hardware used to attach the tonneau cover. These ladder rack rails will stay in place on the bed and you can loosen the upright mounting hardware to easily remove and adjust the racks when needed. view full answer...
With your truck having RamBoxes that definitely complicates things, but we got you covered. To start, you are going to need to swap out your current pin box with a rotating pin box like the Reese Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret # RP77FR, unfortunately.
It's not going to be as simple as to just drop a hitch in the bed - you're going to need a bit more. So from here, you'd then be able drop in a hitch # RP30928 and a rail kit # RP56009-53. view full answer...
Your going to be better off going with the Swift Hitch Wireless Hitch Alignment Camera and Monitor # 04928 as the power wire for the camera on the Hopkins Smart Hitch # HM50002 is only about 18" long. The long wire is only for the monitor. And While you could use a In Bed Plug # 41157 to move the connector further forward while also adding an in bed 7-way to plug your gooseneck in this would be difficult to reach being near the front of the bed when you have the tonneau cover. The Swift... view full answer...
Hi Mike,
The Pace Edwards Contractor Rig Rack Truck Bed Ladder Rack # 311-CR6007 mounts into the track of the cover so from the manufacturer's standpoint you would need the cover in order to use the rack. There aren't currently any clamps designed to work with this rack so if you really wanted to use it without the cover you'd have to custom make them yourself.
If you would like to get a cover to mount the rack to then you'll need the Pace Edwards JackRabbit Retractable Hard Tonneau... view full answer...
Great question Kendall. I know it can seem a little overwhelming but all you need to install a gooseneck hitch in the bed of your 2016 Ford F-250 is the B and W Turnoverball part # BWRVK1111 that you referenced. This comes with everything you'd need to have a functional gooseneck. view full answer...
Hey Don, yes you can swap the leg kit of your current Curt Q25 to fit the OEM rails of your new 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500. For that all you would need is the part # CU53FR. view full answer...
Hey Travis, it took me a second but the OEM prep package is basically a gooseneck hitch rail system pre-installed in the bed of your 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500. If you look in the bed of your truck and see 5 holes/mounts then you have the OEM prep and you'd need a ball like the part # BWGNXA2061.
Otherwise you'd need a complete hitch like the B and W # BWGNRK1016 and you'd be set. view full answer...
You can definitely install under under-bed gooseneck hitch system on your 2005 Ford F350 with 8 foot bed and air suspension installed. I recommend going with the Remov-A-Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation Kit # 6300-4449. This will match up to the factory bolt holes on your truck frame, so no drilling is needed! view full answer...
Hey Scott, to place the rear rail of the Demco fifth wheel rail kit part # DM39FR in the bed of your 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 short bed you will measure 32-1/8 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed to the center of the rear rail. Once that's set you'd want to use the hitch # DM8550034 to place the front rail by setting it in the rear rail. This ensures the rails are placed perfectly for the hitch, but it will be right at 22 inches in front of the rear rail. view full answer...
Hey Mike, for your 2006 Ford F-350 I recommend going with the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57398. This air bag kit is compatible with an in-bed hitch, has up to 5k of load leveling capacity, and an adjustable air pressure range of 5 to 100 PSI.
To finish your air bag setup, you're also going to need an air compressor like the Air Lift Load Controller II Compressor System for Air Helper Springs # AL25592. This compressor will let you monitor and adjust your bags whenever... view full answer...
Yes there is. The Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550034 is one option that could potentially be used in a Ford F-150 or F-250. This hitch is made to work with the industry standard fifth wheel rails, so provided both trucks have standard fifth wheel rails in the bed, the hitch will be transferrable.
That said, if both trucks do have the industry standard fifth wheel rails in the bed, pretty much any sliding 5th wheel hitch would be transferrable. As long as the hitch is... view full answer...
Yes, the # TLD2142 is exactly what you need for your 2019 Ram 3500 with running boards extending under the truck bed. For the rear, you need the # TLD3112 if you have the factory hitch or # TLR3510 if you have the TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum 30K. view full answer...
Sorry about the confusion Tony but the replacement pin part # DM92VR is the correct replacement for securing your Demco Hijacker Autoslide to the above bed rails you have in your truck's bed! You would only need four and I am not sure why we have 6 listed in the description. view full answer...
Hey Michael, we have the B and W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch part # BWGNRK1016 that fits your 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500. This also comes with all hardware needed to install and the ball is a hideaway style that gets flipped over when not in use to give you a totally clean truck bed.
B and W gooseneck hitches are widely considered to be the best around because of how well they are made, how easy they are to use, and they are made in the USA. view full answer...
