The Clearsource Ultra RV Water Filter System # CS87FR really is designed for "weekend warriors" such as yourself, who would only be using it occasionally, and are not living in the camper full time. It is very easy to set up and take down, and it is pretty lightweight, at least as far as water filtration systems go.
We do not recommend leaving it full when in storage though. What you will want to do is remove the filters and blow out the system with pressurized air (do not exceed 30 PSI).... view full answer...
If you feel confident that you are able to pull apart the Empire Faucets RV Kitchen Faucet # EM34JR to clean and grease the internal components then it is your faucet and I could not prevent you from doing it. I typically recommend using 2 Filters # AF24FR on internal faucets connections to help keep impurities out of the faucets since debris can get in the system and water supplies at most parks are typically not the cleanest. view full answer...
Hi Maria,
A water hose that is white with a blue stripe generally indicates it is a drinking water/fresh water hose. These will connect to your trailer's city water inlet, which is what I believe you were referencing, and we have a number of different lengths to choose from:
- 10 Feet: AquaFresh High Pressure Drinking Water Hose for RV # W01-5120
- 25 Feet: AquaFresh High Pressure Drinking Water Hose for RV # W01-5300
- 50 Feet: AquaFresh High Pressure Drinking Water Hose for RV # W01-5600 view full answer...
Hey Thomas, yeah you could install and use the Access Door for RVs part # 37210-31015 the way you described and it would work well. It is waterproof so in the future it wouldn't leak either. view full answer...
Hey Tom, so the RV puck light part # 277-000488 could be used to provide additional lighting to your RV shower but you would need to make sure you put it in a location where it won't get sprayed with water from the shower. It can handle the higher humidity of a bathroom application but not water directed on it. view full answer...
Hey Velle, thanks for reaching out!
We have gas and electric water heaters like the Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC74FR, but to my knowledge none of the RV water heaters run off of pure electricity.
The Dometic one I referenced has a tank so I actually recommend replacing it with a tankless option like the Furrion # FR48SR which is much more efficient and powerful than the standard heaters that use traditional tanks on them. This Furrion only runs off of gas though so you won't be able... view full answer...
Hey Tom,
The Hott Rod RV Water Heater Conversion Kit # DGR6VP gets plugged into a 110v outlet for power so you'd use a typical light switch # 37212225 to control the power running to the outlet that powers the kit. view full answer...
Hey Jimmy, we have the Camco water heater element part # CAM02143 that works with Suburban water heaters like you have. There's no need to try and track down part numbers. view full answer...
Hello Greg. We do offer one black water tank T-handle that is designed to work with an internally threaded shaft. It has a screw that inserts down thru the top of the handle. Take a look at the following:

Thanks for the pictures! Sorry but the Lippert 360 Siphon RV Vent Cap for Black Water Holding Tanks item # LC389381 does not come in individual pieces. We do have it in black though item # LC389380. view full answer...
Hey Taylor, it looks like the Valterra EZ Valve part # E1003VP that you referenced uses 16 gauge wire but since I think 14 gauge wire is easier to work with that would be what I would go with. The amperage draw of this is pretty light so you wouldn't need to really worry about overdrawing the wiring either. view full answer...
Hey Douglas,
The Valterra Bladex RV Waste Valve Seals # T1001-9VP are slightly larger (thicker) than the LaSalle Bristol gate valve seals so you while you could get them to fit you'd likely have a leak over time. Your best bet would be to replace the gate valve with a Valterra gate valve like part # T1001VP. The old gate valve can just be unbolted from the plumbing and swapped over to the newer valve and from then on you can replace just the seals as needed. The bolt pattern for these... view full answer...
