The Saris Door County Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # SAR42RR does require a 2" trailer hitch receiver tube opening in order to mount. Hitch pin holes for a 2" hitch are typically 5/8" in diameter. The anti-rattle hitch pin lock # SA3022 included with this rack has a 7/16" thickness and threads into the shank of the rack to clamp it to the receiver tube and prevent any movement/rattling.
