The Wesbar Low Profile Trailer Tail Light 403026 is the same size and type that you currently have on the drivers side of your 2011 Venture Boat Trailer. This is an incandescent light and there is the matching Passenger Side 403076. I'm not too sure what you've got going on over there Jim, but what I can tell you first need to find out what each wire does on your boat trailer.

For a salt water boat trailer, I recommend using the 35 Ft 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness item # A35W42B. This 42' harness is trimmable and has two tail light wires that split at the harness. This is beneficial because the separate wires can run down each side of the trailer to tail lights without needing a jumper wire.

I recommend checking out the Optronics LED Trailer License Plate Light w/ Bracket # LPL55CB to replace what you currently have on your EZ Loader boat trailer. I wasn't able to find an example of what you currently have but this kit is pretty universal and should be able to mount to your trailer no problem!

Unfortunately I have no insight on what Ranger Trailer put on their boat trailers in 2006. All I have to go off is images I could find which looks like they use the Amber # MCL52AB or # MCL52AMB and Red # MCL52RB or # MCL52RMB. The difference is the parts ending in MB have pigtail wires while the other lights use a plug in 2-pin connector. Sorry John, the Curt dinghy tow harness 58963 can only be used for dinghy towing and will not work for connecting to a trailer. Instead you will need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56406 for your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Hey Jeff, we do have some good replacement options for you. The Wraparound LED Tail Light 271594 has unfortunately been discontinued. Our best option for replacing it is the ONE LED Trailer Tail Light # STL0066RBG for the passenger side and # STL0067RPG for the driver side.

Hey Darrel thanks for your question. Based on the specs I can find online, the 1988 Grumman Jon Boat is not a particularly heavy boat. One spec sheet even said the boat weighs only 74 lbs not including any aftermarket accessories or fuel. I do not know the exact weight of your boat but even if you are loaded with gear and fuel, I think you can definitely get away with using a light to medium duty winch.

The hubs have a dust cap but aren't sealed so water can still get in them. To ensure no water gets in, I would replace that dust cap with the Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors # BB1980A-SS.

There are a lot of potential factors here. It would help to know what kind of trailer you have or get a picture of the trailer and lights to determine what exactly you need. If this is a boat trailer that is a lot simpler than something like a large 5th wheel with more lights. It shouldn't be a problem to run backup lights on the same circuit as the reverse lockout, especially LED lights. You can use # 10-1-1 to run your additional wire. These lights are going to be about a sixteenth of an inch longer, and an eighth of an inch taller than your current lights so the difference isn't really that noticeable, meaning they should work great as a replacement. view full answer...
Unfortunately Bruce, It would appear your lights are being discontinued so we would only have an entire replacement light like the Optronics Passenger # STL16RB and Driver # STL17RB tail lights. These will have the same 3 wire connections and similar mounting style as your current Wesbar lights. If your 2017 Ford Escape has a tow package then you'll see a 7-pin round connector around the trailer hitch to plug the Hopkins # 30955 in. If you don't have this package/connector then you'll need the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118715. This will transfer your Escape's light signals through to the trailer. Hey Chris, so if you have a circuit tester like the part # PTW2993 that can probe wires when testing I would try testing the wires on new 4-way after it's plugged into your tow vehicle to make sure voltage is getting through the connector. I imagine it is but you never know. Basically from there you can work your way back to see where the voltage drops.
