Expert Answers about Keystone RV Toilets

  • What is Differene Between Dometic Full Timer RV Toilets 320 and 510
  • The Dometic 510 Elongated Seat Toilet part # DOM29FR basically just has a larger bowl and seat than the 320 version part # DOM87FR. The 510 is more or less just a slightly larger and heavier (by 10 lbs) standard height toilet. The 510 will seem more like a toilet you'd find in a house whereas the 320 will seem like an RV toilet that's just a little smaller and more compact.

  • Recommended Elongated Bowl Replacement For A Thetford RV Toilet
  • Hey Joe, We don't currently offer a Thetford RV Toilet with an elongated bowl, but we do offer some other options that would likely still fit without modification. You'll need to measure the distance you have from the center of the flange bolts back to the wall behind to the toilet to determine your rough-in measurement. If you had an 11" or greater rough-in then you could go with the Dometic 320 Full-Timer RV Toilet # DOM87FR along with the hand sprayer attachment # DOM75FR.

  • Replacement RV Toilet Options With An Elongated Bowl And Hand Sprayer
  • Hey Karen, We offer a few different options with elongated bowls but they unfortunately don't come with the hand sprayer already installed. Luckily Dometic offers the # DOM75FR which you can install in just a few minutes. Before purchasing anything you'll need to measure from either of the flange bolts backwards to the wall to see how big of a rough-in you have. The options I have listed below all require an 11" rough-in in order to fit: Dometic 320 Full-Timer RV Toilet - Standard Height...

  • Is There A Replacement Flush Ball Assembly For A Dometic 321 Toilet?
  • Hey Mike, so the Replacement Flush Ball Assembly # DOM68FR is not correct for the Dometic 321 toilet. I just double checked with my contact at Dometic, and unfortunately the flush ball on the 321 series toilet is not replaceable. The only option would be to replace the toilet entirely with another Dometic 321 Full-Timer RV Toilet such as part # DOM99FR.

  • Replacing The Toilet In A 1964 Shasta Travel Trailer
  • The Dometic 310 Part-Timer RV Toilet # DOM57FR would fit on a four bolt flange but only requires two flange bolts in order to mount. You'll need to check the rough-in measurement you have to ensure that the # DOM57FR will fit the space. The rough-in is the distance from the cent of the flange back to the wall. The # DOM57FR requires a 10" rough-in in order to fit. If you don't have enough room for the 10" rough-in then we also offer the # DOM64FR which only requires an 8-1/2" rough-in.

  • Are There Seat Lifters Available For the Dometic 320 RV Toilet
  • Hi April, There currently aren't any confirmed fitting seat lifters for the Dometic 320 Full-Timer RV Toilet # DOM87FR. That being said you the bowl has an elongated shape and the bolt holes are spaced 5-1/2" center to center, so you could verify the shape and bolt holes of the lifter to see if it's a match. The correct paint for the lifter is going to depend on the material the lifter is made of. You'll need to check with the manufacturer to determine the material and then choose a compatible...

  • Can a Dometic 310 Toilet Be Used In Place Of a Dometic 300?
  • In my experience you are only going to be able to get the Dometic 310 Part-Timer RV Toilet # DOM57FR to fit if you have at least 10" from the wall to the center of the toilet flange. With you only having a 9" rough in it is going to limit you to the Dometic 300 # DOM64FR. There is one situation where I have seen a toilet fit and that involved turning the unit sideways but again you will have to ensure you have the rough in clearance to the side as well as either a 4 post toilet flange...
