That's a great question Mike and I have an interesting answer. There actually isn't any specific weight capacity for the HappiJac Truck-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs item # LC182910-182971.
These are designed to handle the weight of any truck bed camper, and that's true of any camper tie-down, which is why there isn't a designated weight rating. If a camper can fit inside the bed of your F-350, the HappiJac tie-downs will safely hold it in place.
The only other thing you will need with these... view full answer...
Hi Mark, thanks for the question and yes, the Brophy Slide In Camper Tie-Downs # HSAB for your 2024 Ram 3500 are sturdy enough for your Lance 825 slide-in camper.
These will work so long as you do not have the RamBoxes in your truck, and while the tie-downs themselves don't have a weight capacity, the necessary turnbuckles do - the Brophy Basic Turnbuckles w/ Hardware for Camper Tie-Downs # TDHP.
The # TDHP have a 3,000 lb capacity which is plenty for your Lance 825 from the specs I was... view full answer...

Hello Kelby,
There was a lot of information missing from what your truck has so I'm just going to go with the most common and assume you have a 2008 Chevy Silverado 2500 or 3500 Regular Cab with an 8 foot bed, factory hitch, and no steps underneath the truck bed. If all of that is true, the following tie-downs fit:
- Rear: TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TLC3209
- Front: TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TLC2204
If your truck is different please leave a comment below with the model, bed size,... view full answer...
Since you have running boards that run all the way to the rear, the only cusotm tie downs available for your 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 are for the rear using the TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs - Custom Frame Mount # TL54FR.
To properly install your pop up camper in your truck you're going to need all 4 tie downs, so the only way you'd be able to do that is if you used # HSSF which is an in bed tie down. view full answer...
The correct tie-downs for your 2019 Ram 3500 Tradesman short bed depend on your hitch. You can choose from the following:
With a factory installed hitch or non-Torklift aftermarket hitch

or
-TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TLD2141 (front) and # TLD3112 (rear)
With a TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum 30K
-TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TLD2141 (front) and # TLR3510 (rear)
Keep in mind, none of these will fit if you have the aftermarket... view full answer...
Hey David,
I haven't really heard from anyone saying their truck bed camper couldn't clear the cab, but vehicle manufacturers can make some wild changes after a couple of decades. With your truck being only a few years newer than the camper I'd say you're likely fine because the camper manufacturers would be going off industry standards for trucks at that time. The camper is going to be sitting inside the bed so you can just ask the seller for the measurement from the bottom of the camper... view full answer...
I recommend using the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles # TLS9529-2-LK to connect the TorLift Camper Tie-Downs # TLC2225 and # TLC3221 to your camper. These turnbuckles are stainless steel with a black powder coating for a clean, long lasting product. They also come with locks to remain secured when you park overnight. view full answer...
Hey John, it can be a bit tricky to find these on our website sometimes but I was able to locate them for you. So, for the front you're going to want the TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TL87CR (F2032), and for the rear you're going to want the TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TLF3008 (F3008).
Finally, to actually secure your camper to your truck you're going to need a set of turnbuckles # TLS9529-2-LK. view full answer...

No, due to changes over the years a 2023 Ford F-350 with an 8' bed and running boards that end at the cab or no running boards would require the TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs - Front # TL87CR and Rear # TLF3008. If you want the aluminum versions then you'd need part # TL36CR and # TLF3008A.
If you're in need of new turnbuckles then I recommend the TorkLift AnchorGuard Derringer Turnbuckles for Truck Camper Tie-Downs # TLS9020. view full answer...
Yes, the Brophy D-Ring Tie Down Anchors # DR01 will work with the Torklift FastGun Turnbuckles # TLS9529-2-LK. Generally, these kinds of D-Rings are not used as a tie down point for a camper, but if they are properly secured using the Backing Plate # BP1D, I see no reason why these could not be used for this purpose. I am not sure exactly what kind of camper you are securing but having four 2,000 lb capacity D-rings should be more than enough for most any truck camper. view full answer...
Hey Gerard,
Yes they sure will; I verified directly with Brophy for you that your 2013 Ford F-350 Super Duty is compatible with and can use the Brophy Slide In Camper Tie-Downs # HSBP.
These will do a superb job of anchoring your camper and the only other thing you'll need with the # HSBP are the Brophy Basic Turnbuckles # TDHP. view full answer...
Hey Brian, so according to TorkLift they don't have any tie downs for the front but for the rear you are going to want the TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TL54FR.
Since your truck has factory running boards that extend under the bed, there aren't going to be any front tie downs available. view full answer...
Hey Kenneth, thanks for the question and the answer is yes, TorkLift tie-downs are specific not only to the year make and model, such as the 2014 Ford F-350, but also specific to the length of your bed, if you have running boards, and the hitch you have. For example, on a 2014 Ford F-350 with a 6-3/4' bed, no running boards under the bed, and a factory hitch you would use the TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs - Front # TLF2012 and Rear # TLF3006.
Or for a '14 F-350 with an 8' bed, no running... view full answer...
Hey Isaac, thanks for reaching out!
The information you provided is enough so you'll need the following TorkLift Tie-Downs:
- Front # TLF2022A
- Rear # TLF3008A
It just so happens that the same parts fit whether the steps/running boards are under the truck bed or just under the cab, which it sounds like that's where you were getting hung up. view full answer...
The Brophy Slide In Camper Tie-Downs # HSAB are a universal application, and while I believe the rear part of your 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 dually will be too wide for them to fit, I'm attaching a photo of the dimensions so you can confirm this on your end.
If these won't fit your truck then I recommend using the HappiJac Camper Tie-Downs # LC182910-182971 instead because they are still more on the cost-effective side of things when compared to the TorkLift alternatives. view full answer...
