Increasing the axle capacity will not increase the load that the trailer can haul because you're still limited to capacity of the trailer's frame. Swapping up to a higher weight class can also give you a stiffer ride and uneven tire wear because the suspension isn't being loaded enough to compress the suspension and have the tires sit straight without camber. The common consensus on capacity is that you should really only use 80-85% to give yourself a margin or error. At 3,300lbs you'd be at roughly 94% capacity so you still technically could but it's likely going to sag the rear suspension and be tough to pull. Even though Rangers are pretty well known for being overloaded and powering through I'd recommend adding in a bit of suspension enhancement or using a weight distribution hitch to help control the trailer and keep it tracking... view full answer...

It's really going to come down to how long the trailer is sitting in the water and how many miles you're travelling. A 250 mile trip isn't going to run you out of grease. There are a couple options for air bags for your 2024 Ford F-150 4WD with the EcoBoost engine, it just depends on if your truck is equipped with Continuously Controlled Damping (CCD) or the optional Onboard Scales.
