After checking your owners manual on your 2013 BMW Z4 it appears you are only able to tow the manual transmission on a dolly like the Demco Kar Kaddy X Tow Dolly # DM9713093. If you have the automatic transmission it is only capable of being towed with all 4 wheels off the ground. We have single bike trunk racks for your 2003 BMW Z4 like the SeaSucker Komodo # 298-BK1910-SV but the price on these is pretty high so I think a better option would be a 3-bike rack like the Hollywood Racks Express part # HRE3 which is much better on price and will work great.
