A regular cab short bed Sierra is about 17-1/2 feet long, and the cable included with the camera is 19-1/2 feet long. Your crew cab is a bit longer. I'd say you're right on the borderline of needing the extension. You will want to get a measurement that is as accurate as you can when measuring for Bearing Buddies. You can use a digital caliper like part # PTW80157 to measure the inside of the hub opening the Bearing Buddy is used on. If you find the inside measurement of your hub is 1.98 inches, part # BB1980A-SS would work well for you.
