Yes, you could plug the Adapter 4 Pole to 6 Pole and 4 Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter, part # 37175, into the 4-way of the Tow Ready Wiring Harness, part # 119178.
As long as you do not need any of the other functions that the 6-way has you would not need to wire up those wires to the # 37175. The 6-way would essentially be a 4-way, except it would be through a 6-way connector, and you could wire up the rest of the wires later if you changed your mind.
