Weight distribution systems including # 17301 do not come with a pole tongue adapter but we do have them available separately. If you go with a chain hanging system like 17301 then you can use pole tongue adapter # RP3280. However the adapter is rated for 7,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 750 pounds tongue weight so you are limited to that. If you are talking about the shank that the head mounts to, yes, it is included.
