  • Recommended Replacement Jack for 2300 lb Pop-Up Camper
  • You did just fine! What you'll need is a jack that can handle the tongue weight of the trailer, not its entire weight. A trailers tongue weight is typically 10-15% of its total weight, so in your case the highest capacity you'll really need is about 350 lbs. That being said, choosing a trailer jack is one instance where you'll want to go for the overkill as far as capacity goes. A higher rated jack will be more heavily constructed and because of the reserve capacity it won't need to work...

  • Recommended Replacement Trailer Connector For 2006 Viking Pop Up Camper
  • I would be happy to recommend the correct replacement wiring for your 2006 Viking Pop Up Camper. If your trailer uses a 4-way flat connector I recommend the Wesbar 4-Pole Flat Connector w/ Jacketed Cable - Trailer End - 8' Long # W787268 due to the jacket which will help to protect the wiring from the elements. Using heat shrink butt connectors # DW05744-5 will give you a nice weather tight connection. If your trailer uses a 7-way connector I recommend the etrailer Trailer Wiring 7-Way...

  • Replacement Idler Hub For 2004 Viking Epic 1906ST Pop Up Camper
  • To verify which hub will best fit your 2004 Viking Epic 1906ST popup you are going to need to disassemble a hub to check the bearings and seals. The only information I could find is you have a 2,200lb AL-KO torsion axle. This should use the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-545-2-EZ-2K which uses the same inner and outer Bearing # L44649(1.063" inner diameter) and a Grease Seal # 10-9(1.500" inner diameter). It has a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern which you can verify is stamped...

  • Recommended 3'+ Propane Supply Hose for Pop-Up Camper
  • If you're searching for a hose to go from the tank to the regulator then you'll need the MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail part # 100575-36-MBS for 3' long or part # 100575-48-MBS for 4' long. Please note, the pigtail hoses use an inverted flare and most regulators use national pipe taper (NPT) so if you don't already have the brass inserts you'll need them as well, the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Fitting part # 204120-MBS.

  • Maximum Crossbar Spread For The Swagman Upright Bike Rack for 1 Bike
  • The Swagman Upright Bike Rack for 1 Bike # S64720 has U-bolt mounting holes running down the center of the entire wheel tray allowing the rack to attach to a maximum crossbar spread of 52" (from center to center of the crossbars). This means you would be able to attach the rack to your Swagman Roamer LT Roof Rack # S80510 with a 48" crossbar spread.

  • Recommended Roof Rack for 2000 Viking 2485st Pop-Up Camper
  • I was able to find that your 2000 Viking 2485st pop-up camper is 23 feet 10 inches long by 7 foot 1 inch wide. We have a couple options for your trailer. You can use the SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack - Square Crossbars - Steel # SR1020 or the Swagman Roamer LT Roof Rack for Pop-Up Campers and Camper Shells - Steel - 7' Long - 150 lbs # S80510. Another option is to mount tracks for the adjustable sliding crossbars to give you more fit options. For this I recommend the Rhino-Rack Roof...

  • How Do You Wire Optronics Trailer Light MC48RB?
  • On the light you purchased from us, the # MC48RB (Thanks for your business!), the black wire is the power wire that needs to get connected to the running light circuit of your trailer, and the white wire needs to be grounded to the frame of the trailer. The existing wires on your trailer are not any sort of standard color, so you'll want to trace the back to see where they connect to, or can hook up the trailer to your vehicle, turn on the head lights, and use a circuit tester like # PTW2993...

  • Parts Needed to Add Electric Drum Brakes to a 2004 Viking Epic Model M2007
  • First and foremost, thank you for your service to our country. It is greatly appreciated. Ultimately you are correct that the most accurate way to determine the correct hub and drum assembly is to pull the hub and find the bearing and grease seal numbers or at least use a digital caliper to measure the spindle where they sit. However, there are a few pieces of info that we can possibly piece together to make an educated guess as to what you have. We do have the Dexter Axle Trailer Hub...

  • Replacement Bearing Kit for a Dexter D4620466 Torflex Axle on a 2000 Viking Legend Camper
  • I spoke to my contact at Dexter about your Torflex axle with the serial number "D4620466". They informed me that this axle has a 3,500 lb capacity and uses a L68149 inner and L44649 outer bearing. If you are looking for a bearing kit then you can use part # BK2-100 but if you need the hub/drum then you can use part # AKHD-545-35-K. I have attached a review/install video on both options for you as well.

  • Potential Replacement Keys for a 1988 Palomino Stallion Popup Camper
  • There is a good chance that the Valterra 751 Replacement Keys for RV Hatch Doors # A524VP are what you are needing. These are going to be the standard CH751 key set that's going to go with most RVs. They come from the factory with this 751 locking core. Since you have an older popup the likelihood of this being the right key is very high even though I can't completely guarantee it. If you have a number on the lock core, you can take a look at that to try and find the right key. If you...

  • Which Hub Assembly and Bearings do I Need to Replace 4 by 4 trailer hubs?
  • To find which hub works for your trailer, we need to remove the current hub and look at the bearing numbers on the current bearings. Part # AKIHUB-440-2-EZ-2K is the part you most likely need, but there is no way of knowing until the bearing numbers are matched. When trying to verify the bearings you currently have, you need to pull the bearings out of your hub and there should be a bearing number on the seal of the bearings. This will tell you if this part is a correct fit or not. If...

  • Shouldn't Hopkins Square 6-Way 37995 Come with Thicker Gauge Wiring
  • All of the wires of the Hopkins 6-pole part # 37995 are 18 gauge. I would agree with you though that the ground circuit, brake output, and 12 volt accessory circuit should be a heavier gauge like 12. That's part of why I don't recommend this as a great solution for trailer wiring. Instead I would replace the square connector on the trailer with a standard 7-way like the part # A10-7W6 which comes with appropriately rated wiring for circuits.

  • Replacement Trailer Jack for Viking Legend Pop-Up Camper
  • What you've got there looks like some type of proprietary mount that we don't offer. We do however have jacks that would work. I'd recommend having the mount removed and using a weld-on jack like the Fulton # FXP100W0301 and the # P9012-00 bracket. This is a swivel jack, so when the pop-up is hitched to the tow vehicle, pull the pin and swing up the jack so it stores parallel to the trailer frame. This prevents the caster from hitting anything while towing and getting damaged, which from...

  • How to Determine Grease Seal For 2004 Viking Saga Trailer
  • We can tell you how to find the correct grease seal, but you'll have to take the hubs off as we don't have any way of knowing what grease seal a 2004 Viking Saga trailer uses. So in order to find the correct hubs you will need to take apart your current hub assembly and look at the seal; wipe away the grease and you may be able to see the part number stamped on it. If you are unable to find it you need to use a digital caliper to measure your spindle to the thousandths of an inch where...
