I am unfamiliar with the vehicle you are speaking of, but I can give you some general advice. Whether or not you are using a converter, you will want to use a circuit tester, like part # PTW2993, to locate the appropriate wires to gain access to the lighting circuits. You do not mention which connector you are wanting to install, but I will assume it is a 4 pole.
