The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76020 for your 2023 Mazda CX-9 is no longer compatible with the J-Pin 63201. Draw-Tite stopped making their receivers compatible with this pin in 2021 and we have long sold through all those receivers. We do offer their QSP Trailer Hitch Silencer and Cover # 63080 which will also help to reduce the rattle on 2" ball mounts and hitch mounted accessories. But you will still need a separate Lock # e98882 to secure everything.

Hey Zach, so we haven't had the chance to install a brake controller in a 2018 Mazda CX-9 so we don't have the wire color for the stoplight circuit switch but we can still help. The easiest is to use a circuit tester like the part # PTW2993 to test all of the wires that lead to the brake pedal switch till you find the circuit that only has voltage when the brakes are applied.
