  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2007 Kenworth T300
  • Since you have a 34 inch wide frame, we may have something that could work with a bit of fabrication on your part. 34 inch wide frames (measured from outside to outside) is a very common frame width for cab and chassis trucks, so we do have options for those beyond the universal RV style hitches. I recommend looking at part # 41947. This hitch fits a 34 inch wide frame and has several height adjustments on the brackets so the receiver can be adjusted to a few different heights. I've attached...

  • Parts Needed To Pull A Gooseneck Trailer Behind a 2007 Kenworth T800
  • I do see your Holland FW35 is designed to fit a 2" kingpin like the one used on both the 25K # KPG5-R25-IP and 30K # KPG5-R30IP coupler adapters you looked at. For the wiring you will need to create a custom adapter. First you will need the 7-Pole Round Pin Connector # PK11702. This will need to be wired to the Tail Light Converter # HM48847 since the 7-pin connector on your Kenworth has separate wiring for the brake and turn signals and a 7-way Blade # PK12-707E combines the brake and...

  • Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement for 2011 Kenworth T800
  • The Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System # TKWF001 will not increase the weight rating of your front axle. It will simply help add stability and shock absorption. This system is rated for 10,0000 lb capacity and designed for trucks equipped with the 8 bag Airglide AG1000 suspension system. If this is the system you have it will work well for you. If the numbers you gave are accurate, there is not a system designed to work with your truck from any of our manufacturers.

  • Possible Fifth Wheel Hitch Solution for Fire Truck
  • Putting a fifth wheel hitch in a truck like yours gets pretty difficult since the distance from the rear axle to the rear of the truck is often times longer than what a fifth wheel overhang will allow plus the the height typically doesn't match well either. That said if all of the checked out the Reese Low Profile Hitch part # RP30054 would be a great option. This install if this normally requires a bit of fabrication which is covered in the attached install instructions.

  • What are the Wire Functions for Vision X Headlight Conversion Kit # VX-46
  • On the Vision X Headlight Conversion Kit # VX-46 the black wire is the ground. From what I understand the white wire is low beam and the red wire is high beams. Since they take 9007 bulbs though it shouldn't matter because one wire energizes a filament for low beams and the other energizes a filament for high beams. So basically you could switch them and they would still function.

  • How To Wire a Semi to Tow an RV
  • The brake and turn signal circuits are combined in standard trailer wiring applications therefore, I think there might be an issue with how the tow vehicle is wired. If the tow vehicle uses separate brake and turn signal circuits then you will need to combine them with the Roadmaster Brite-Lite Wiring Converter part # RM-732 which can then be wired to the 7-Pole and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Sockets w/ Mounting Bracket part # HM40975-11998. If you can't access the stop light circuit on your...

  • Mounting Hole Dimensions of Buyers Products 45 Ton Pintle Hook
  • The Buyers Products 45 Ton Pintle Hook # 337PH45 does not have the 4 inch square bolt pattern but rather uses a different pattern. Vertically the holes are 3 inches on center. Horizontally the top row is 5-1/4 inches on center and the bottom is 6-1/2 inches on center. I've attached a photo to help. I recommend the mounting kit # 3378530 with this hitch. We don't have anything that will fit that 4 inch square bolt pattern. I've attached a link to all our options from all our manufacturers...

  • Replacement Brake Assemblies for Dexter 10k Trailer Axle
  • Yes, for your Dexter 10k axles you can use the 10k brake assemblies part # AKEBRK-10R and # AKEBRK-10L that you mentioned. These were designed for your Dexter 10k axles and the slight narrower width would not be an issue at all.

  • 7-Way and Brake Controller Recommendation for 1999 Kenworth T2000
  • You are going to need to install a 7-way trailer wiring socket on your vehicles (the 2015 Silverado already has one), so that you can activate the trailer lights and then install a brake controller to activate the EOH brakes of your trailer. You will need to start with a 4-way (if you do not have one). For that you would want the # 119250KIT. From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller...

  • Recommended Brake Controller for a 2006 Kenworth T300 w/ Air Brakes
  • I would be happy to help you. For your 2006 Kenworth T300 I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller item # 90885. This controller ties into the brake stoplight switch that's usually located above the brake pedal, which is what tells the controller that the vehicle brakes are being applied so the connection is purely electrical, not hydraulic or air actuated. What is important is that the controller is wired to your Kenworth correctly. The red wire runs to the stoplight...

  • Determining Functions of Trailer Wiring 2020-21 Kenworth T270
  • Most likely the wiring color codes of your Kenworth are not standard so what you'd need to do is use a circuit tester like the # PTW2992 to determine what they are and wire by function instead.

  • Making Trailer Wiring Adapter for Semi Truck Towing Trailer with RV Blade Style 7-Way
  • If you need to keep the 7-Way semi active on the truck, then you would need to make an adapter to get it to work with an RV 7-Way. For that you would need a trailer side 7-Way round, # PK11702, a converter, # RM-732, and a vehicle side 7-Way RV style, # PK12-707E. A semi-7-Way has separate circuits for the brake lights and each turn signal. And RV style 7-Way has the brake lights combined on the same circuit. So, what you would do is use a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 to determine...

  • Correct Slide Topper for a Keystone Bullet 273BHS
  • The Solera RV Slide-Out Awning part # LCV000163300 fits a trailer with a slide-out 152" to 157" long when measuring the outside flanges. The next closest option is the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning part # LCV000163299 which fits a slide-out 146" to 151" long or the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning part # LCV000163301 which fits a slide-out 158" to 163" long. I don't have any specs on your trailer so you will need to measure this for yourself.

  • Troubleshooting Powered Converter Box Where Trailer Brake Lights Are Always On
  • It's possible that the converter box on your Curt # C56190 has gone bad, but typically something like this is caused by a short in the system that would need to be fixed to avoid the issue again. From what it sounds like, I believe this can be isolated to the tow vehicle and I recommend that you begin by checking the wiring for any damage that might be visible. I also recommend checking the trailer plugs and cleaning them off so that they're free of dirt, debris and corrosion. If you can...

  • Recommended Circulating Coolant Tank Heater for a 2005 Kenworth T600 with Cummins ISX Engine
  • I have exactly what you will need to ensure warm coolant in flowing through your 2005 Kenworth T600 at all times. For this you are indeed going to want a large capacity coolant heater. The most well equipped heater we have for your needs is the Kat's Heaters Thermostatically Controlled Circulating Tank Heater part # KH13200. The heater is thermostatically controlled meaning it turns on when plugged in and shuts off when the temperature reaches 175 degrees fahrenheit. The above heater is...
