There are a few differences between a chain or bar weight distribution hitch.
A chain weight distribution hitch like the Reese Weight Distribution System # RP66021 will not have sway control built into the system. It would require you to add either Reese Dual Cam High-Performance Sway Control # RP26002 or a Reese Friction Sway Control Kit # 83660. The Friction sway control would have to be removed before maneuvering your trailer in tight conditions otherwise it will cause damage to the... view full answer...
Hey Dave, unfortunately the spring itself is not replaceable so you'd need to replace the entire part with the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PAL8600. view full answer...
Hi there Frank, and yes we sure do have trailer hitch covers with a United States Army display. Each is for a 2" hitch and there are a few different styles to choose from:
- All Black: US Army Trailer Hitch Cover # AUT-ARMY2-RB
- Brushed/Silver: US Army Trailer Hitch Cover # AUT-ARMY2-S
- Black Base & Color Emblem: Army Of One Seal Trailer Hitch Cover # AMG102391 view full answer...
Hey Jon, so in theory the inline Echo Mobile part # C51180 and the under dash part # C27JR should perform the same but we have found that the under dash version works a lot better so it would be the way to go. Overall performance and connectivity just is more consistent. It's also not easy for a thief to potentially steal like the C51180. Which to install it in your 2023 Honda Ridgeline all you would need is the part # C51392 and you'd be set. view full answer...
Steve, these bars are not in our warehouse so I unfortunately can not physically measure them but I did reach out to the manufacturer who said that they are made specifically for the Ridgeline so they will match the pre-existing hole pattern where the tie downs are at the front of the bed. The holes are sized for the M8 bolts on the Ridgeline and the M6 bolts that are sent with the kit. view full answer...
Norman, I recommend going with the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37060ET as I feel these are the best bang for the buck of any weight distribution hitch. This particular system is rated for trailers up to 6,000lbs with a tongue weight of 200-600lbs. So this will also leave you some room to grow your trailer in the future and as the hitch is designed to last a lifetime. The hitch does come with a 2" hitch ball which you will need a 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216... view full answer...
Hey Galen, it sounds like you have an Extang Trifecta 2.0 tonneau cover on your 2006 Honda Ridgeline which if so the replacement tarp you would need is the part # EX92825-20. view full answer...
Installing the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR using your factory tow port is possible with the # 3070-P. Since the wiring harness is not directly compatible with Redarc, you will also need the Redarc Tow-Pro Wiring Adapter for Tekonsha Brake Controller Harness # 331-TPH-017. view full answer...
Hey Elias, so the Curt hitch part # 13385 does not have any brackets built into it for attaching to trailer wiring. When we installed the Tekonsha trailer wiring harness part # 118400 on a similar Ridgeline we took the cover of the 4-way and wrapped it around the safety chain loop of the hitch to secure it up and out of the way. That's what I would do if I were you. view full answer...
Hey Rick, so I have a similar crossbar solution that will work for your 2024 Honda Ridgeline but we don't have any ladder racks that fit your vehicle's bed at all. Instead your best option would be a roof rack for that would put crossbars on the roof of the vehicle like the Thule Wingbar Edge part # TH28RE, # TH79SC, and # TH79RV. view full answer...
Hey Jonathan,
We haven't heard of any issues with the P3 # 90195 and plug-in harness # 3070-P with a 2024 Honda Ridgeline. How are you sure that the brakes are being applied on your Honda when applying the manual override on the P3? What are you experiencing? view full answer...
Hello Sam. It sounds like you are on the right track here, because the Roadmaster Universal Braking Monitor for Flat Tow Brake Systems # RM-9530 is exactly what you will need. This will allow you to monitor your Invisibrake system. You will have to wire the transmitter to the battery for a constant 12v power source, and you will have to run wires to the break switch. I have included a link to the manufacturer instructions below. view full answer...
The connector for the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3070-P is located above the parking brake on your 2023 Honda Ridgeline. Even knowing where it is still proves difficult to get to the connector and attach the wiring adapter. I know several either take it to the dealer to let them connect it or remove the drivers seat to better access under the dash. Then you will be able to connect your Prodigy P3 # 90195. view full answer...
The tonneau cover you'd want for your 2020 Honda Ridgeline that will allow the trunk to open fully is the Extang Solid Fold part # EX26UV which does not put an additional set of rails to the inside of the truck bed rails. Since the cover folds up on top of the bed rails it leaves the trunk free to open fully as it can pass the bed rails. view full answer...
At this time it doesn't look like Pop & Lock offer just the lock core separately from the # PAL6100 but you could still try giving them a call and seeing if they can swap it out without having to replace everything. In the meantime while you still have to use it I recommend spraying some white lithium grease # RM-747 into the lock core and working the key around to loosen up any built up corrosion or debris. WD40 is usually good for this as well but can allow debris to stick to it whereas... view full answer...
Since you don't have any kind of power at your 7-way and you installed the harness you got from Honda I would assume it is a missing fuse/relay or two. I'm assuming what you installed was the # 118253 which should come with all of the fuses and relays required to activate the functions on your Ridgeline.
I would double check all of the fuses and relays you installed and make sure they are correct. I would also unplug any wiring connections and plug them back in to make sure they're properly... view full answer...
Hey Joshua,
The Rhino-Rack Dome Awning # RR32125 can be left on the car year-round, but the components aren't impervious to the elements so they'll wear down over the years quicker than an awning that was stored inside during harsh weather conditions. view full answer...

Hi Saher,
For a 2017 Honda Ridgeline you'd need the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Handle # PL8675 if your current tailgate lock has a built in camera or the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PAL8600 if it does not. I've attached a couple of videos below where either Rob or Ryan will walk you through the installation process, depending on the kit you choose. view full answer...
