When it comes to replacing your Tekonsha Prodigy P2 brake controller, I would recommend upgrading it to The Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles Proportional # 90195, and The Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter For Electric Brake Controllers GM # 3015-P.
This proportional brake controller automatically levels when mounted within a 360-degree vertical range. The controller has a customizable LCD display screen, has up to 5 storable settings for different trailers/drivers, has... view full answer...
I recommend using the Sumo Springs Custom Solo Helper Springs # SSR-211-54, which are going to offer you progressive load bearing support for when you're towing your 5th wheel and won't affect your unloaded ride quality. These jounce style springs help fight sag, minimize sway and absorb road shock; so they're a great solution to improve your towing experience.
I've linked a short review video of these for you to check out. view full answer...
I wasn't able to find anything relating to that number, however it looks like you were checking out a repacement tarp for the TruXport tonneau cover.
If this is what you have, you'd need the Replacement Tarp for Truxedo TruXport Soft Tonneau TX281101 # TX281101-CVR and enter the serial number in the box that says "Enter a Serial Number or Date Code".
If you have a different model tonneau, feel free to let me know what that is and I'll see what I can do. view full answer...
Installing the Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC158778 onto your trailer is pretty easy. I recommend you get help from a friend though. First you need to remove your existing Lippert 1621 or 1621HD pin box from your trailer. The Trailair uses the same bolts that held on your original pin box so no additional hardware is required during the installation process. You just remove 8 bolts from the flange, and make sure to put the new pin box in the same holes as the old as there are... view full answer...
When it comes to choosing between the Air Lift 7,500 and the Air Lift 5,000 I recommend going with The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57275. The 7,500 pound air springs will be over kill for you and will give you an uncomfortable stiff ride. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57275 have a 5,000 pound weight capacity and has an adjustable air pressure between 5 psi to 100 psi.
To make life easier I also recommend The Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System... view full answer...
We can help you with a different weight distribution shank to give you the amount of drop you need to keep your hitched trailer level with the new truck. All 2-1/2-inch shanks are shown on the linked page. For example, Reese shank # RP54977 offers 5-3/4-inches of drop.
If none of the 2-1/2-inch shanks have the drop you need you can use a reducer sleeve # BX88187 in your hitch to allow use of a 2-inch shank. We offer many more shanks in this hitch size and you can see them on the other... view full answer...
