  • Your Greystone 31" fireplace does have an auto setting, according to the owner's manual at least. You will need to press the "Heat" button which looks like 3 lines waving up (see attached photo) 3 times until you see an "A" displayed, that'll let you know you're in the auto setting. You can continue to press the same button which will show you what temperature is set for the auto setting, and cycle through until you like a certain temperature.

So, that being said, you're going to need swap your current inlet with a 30 amp inlet, and then use an adapter to hook up to a 15 amp outlet.
