You will need to press the "Heat" button which looks like 3 lines waving up (see attached photo) 3 times until you see an "A" displayed, that'll let you know you're in the auto setting. You can continue to press the same button which will show you what temperature is set for the auto setting, and cycle through until you like a certain temperature.
