Hey Terry we have a fifth wheel rail kit that fits your 1994 Chevy K1500 and your Valley fifth wheel hitch with the B and W part # BWRVK3200. Thankfully Valley made their hitches to fit the industry standard fifth wheel rails like what the B and W kit I mentioned is. view full answer...
To use the Curt A30 5th Wheel Hitch item # C66HR on a 1999 Ford F-550, you're going to need to use the Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails with Installation Kit item # C16200. There are no custom fit kits for the cab and chassis models so these will require some drilling to get set up.
Don't forget your lube plate. The Lube Plate for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 10" Diameter item # 16721 will prevent scratches on your fifth-wheel's skid plate and ease trailer hookup.
I saw you were... view full answer...
Hey Scott, so since the Super Glide 2700 fifth wheel hitch was designed to fit the industry standard fifth wheel rails all you'd need is a set like the B and W part # BWRVK2503 which is custom fit for your truck and provides the type of rails your hitch needs. The B and W rails are a custom fit kit that will install without frame drilling and also cost a lot less than other options so its' the way to go. view full answer...
Hey Nick, to install a Demco Hijacker Autoslider fifth wheel hitch like the part # DM8550035 in the bed of your 2019 GMC Sierra Denali short bed with the OEM pucks you'd need the rail kit adapter part # DM6194 and you'd be set. view full answer...
Hey Alan, for your 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 5-3/4 foot bed that is carbon the Demco Hijacker part # DM8550040 is your best option as it is only sliding hitch that can move back far enough to allow your towing setup to make tight turns.
The custom rail kit you'd need for your truck for this hitch would be the Demco part # DM8552034-71 and you'd be set. view full answer...
The Firestone air bag kit part # F2550 that you have installed on your 2008 Ford F-350 was designed to fit with in-bed rail kits like the Curt # C16448-204 that you want to install so they two will fit well together and would not require any special install steps. view full answer...
Hey William, for your 2023 Ford F-150 we have the Curt rail kit part # C38ZV available as a confirmed fit that would work great. It's a custom install kit so install time and drilling would be minimized and it's exact rails your Curt hitch was designed to fit. view full answer...
Hey Brian,
We can definitely get your 2024 Ford F-350 Super Duty a 5th wheel base rail kit so you can use your Husky 5th wheel hitch. All you need for your truck is the following:
- Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Ford # C39VV
I went ahead and verified this fit with the manufacturer for you, and the only other thing I want to mention is that if you need a 5th wheel wiring harness, the correct part is the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness # C57010. view full answer...
Hey Anna, the Reese fifth wheel install bracket kit part # RP58186 is a set of rear brackets that your 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 needs to be used with the universal rail kit part # RP30035. You only need to install one set of these as the rear rail brackets. view full answer...
Hey Travis, so we have several different options for fifth wheel bracket options but since we can't recommend mixing brands between the bracket and rail kits I would need to know what brand rails you have to recommend a bracket kit.
If you had the very common Reese rails you'd need the bracket kit part # RP30439. view full answer...
Hey Mark, the Curt fifth wheel bracket kit that fits a 2022 Ford F-150 is actually the part # C86WR. You should note this is just the brackets and does not come with rails as well. If you needed rails too you would also need the part # C38ZV. view full answer...
Hey Scott, to place the rear rail of the Demco fifth wheel rail kit part # DM39FR in the bed of your 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 short bed you will measure 32-1/8 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed to the center of the rear rail. Once that's set you'd want to use the hitch # DM8550034 to place the front rail by setting it in the rear rail. This ensures the rails are placed perfectly for the hitch, but it will be right at 22 inches in front of the rear rail. view full answer...
The PowerRide head part # C56WR can't be used with the current Curt leg kit you have now unfortunately so if you wanted a PowerRide that fits the GM rail kit the solution you'd need is the complete hitch part # C36WR. view full answer...
Yes there is. The Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550034 is one option that could potentially be used in a Ford F-150 or F-250. This hitch is made to work with the industry standard fifth wheel rails, so provided both trucks have standard fifth wheel rails in the bed, the hitch will be transferrable.
That said, if both trucks do have the industry standard fifth wheel rails in the bed, pretty much any sliding 5th wheel hitch would be transferrable. As long as the hitch is... view full answer...
Your Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2525 are not going to be compatible with the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # C16441-204. It does appear to install any hitch with custom side plates you would have to switch to a different set of Air Springs like the Air Lift for 2WD # AL88228 or 4WD # AL88200.
Otherwise if you install the rails with the Universal Kit # C16200 then you could use the Curt Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # 16055 you found. Do note the universal... view full answer...
Hey Doug, yes you can install the Furrion Vision S 3 Camera system part # FCE48TASL-05 on a fifth wheel that is not pre-wired. It comes with a mount that you can put on the rear of the trailer and then you'd basically just need to run your running light circuit to each of the cameras and you'd be good. Basically the pre-wiring is just the running light circuit ran to the rear of trailer so it's not a super elaborate deal. view full answer...
To verify the Spacer Kit # RP61301 will work on your particular Reese Airborne Sidewinder I will need to know the model number off the pin box as well as the LCI frame tag located on the mounting arm of your 2024 Artic Fox 27-5. With these numbers I will be able to verify the bolt patterns are all going to line up correctly as there are several different possibilities out there and not all model 5th wheels will always use the same pin box. view full answer...
Hey Jon, so someone installed a Reese Elite rail kit in the bed of your 2007 GMC Sierra which happens to be the same as the current Ford OEM puck kits so you could use a hitch designed for that like the. B and W Companion # BWRVK3300 which is widely considered to be the best hitch around due to how well it is made and easy to use it is. view full answer...
Hey Miguel, this is a great question but I think your first though of going with the B and W setup is the best. So for that you'd want the part # BWRVK3500 for the fifth wheel hitch and then for the rail kit that also doubles as a gooseneck hitch you'd want the part # BW83FR which also doubles as a gooseneck hitch.
This gives you exactly what you are looking for. Ability to tow a fifth wheel hitch, a gooseneck hitch, and then when not needed a totally clean truck bed. The Companion hitches... view full answer...
Hey Brian, this is a great question but I can't really tell you exactly how much sag would be reduced with the Timbren kit part # TGMRCK25D but I'd say it would pretty easily take out at least half of the sag. I'd say under normal circumstances it would sag probably right at 1 to 1-1/2 inches.
If you are slightly nose high currently then yeah I would assume you'd need to slightly adjust the hitch head height. view full answer...
