  • Would the Trailer Valet Fit on an Airstream Trailer
  • It would take basically 8 inches of clear real estate on the trailer frame to be able to install the mounting bracket of the Trailer Valet part # STC-V211. It looks like you SHOULD be able to make that aspect work on your trailer but you also need to consider the overall size of the jack when on your trailer. I attached a picture that has the jack's overall dimensions when folded up for you to compare to your trailer to see if it would fit.

  • Roof Rack for 2005 Acura TL for Transporting 14-Foot Kayak
  • A semi-custom-fit roof rack like the cost-effective SportRack # SR1002 will not be secure enough on the roof of your 2005 Acura TL to allow safely transporting a 14-foot kayak. Since this rack is designed to fit on many different vehicles, its fit on any given one will not be as secure as a custom rack that is designed for your specific vehicle. I recommend a custom rack like the Rhino-Rack # RR34YR which will be more secure on the car, quieter at highway speeds and safer for your kayak....

  • Hitch Adapter Recommendation for 2 inch Hitch to Use 1-1/4 inch Bike Rack
  • For your 2012 Acura MDX the Curt Hitch part # 13354 would be a great option for a trailer hitch to carry your bike rack. For a sleeve style adapter to allow you to carry a 1-1/4 inch bike rack with it you would want the part # HT02. This will slide in the hitch tube and reduce it down to a 1-1/4 inch hitch.

  • How to Install Prodigy P3 Brake Controller to a 2009 Acura MDX with a Factory Tow Package
  • To connect the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller, part # 90195, to your 2009 Acura MDX you will need to hardwire the included pigtail wiring harness directly to the factory four wire harness that plugs into your factory brake controller port. The wires will connect color to color, red to red, blue to blue, black to black, and white to white. The Honda wiring harness will not work. I do not have a brake controller wiring harness available for a 2009 Acura MDX that will plug into a factory...

  • Will The Inno Phantom 466 Rooftop Cargo Box # INBRM466BK Fit Crossbars on 2015 Acura MDX?
  • I recommend measuring your factory cross bars on your 2015 Acura MDX to ensure they are less than 3-1/2" long and 1-3/8" tall. The rails must be spread at least 45-3/4" to attach the Inno Phantom 466 Rooftop Cargo Box # INBRM466BK.

  • How to Increase Height of Trailer Hitch Ball to Allow Boat Trailer to be Towed Level
  • Ideally a hitched trailer will be level to the ground. We often recommend starting off with the hitch ball being a bit higher - an inch or so - than the top of the coupler on the level trailer since once hitched there will be a degree of squat in the rear of the tow vehicle from the trailer tongue weight. This is perfectly acceptable. You can select a different ball mount for your hitch that gives you additional height (rise) by using the link provided at right. For example, if you want...

  • Recommended Hitch and Accessories for Towing 4X8 Rental Trailer w/ 2006 Acura TL
  • Although they have the same weight capacity, I'd rather see you use the Curt Class I hitch, part # 11321. Rather than bolting to the underside of the trunk pan like the Draw-Tite, the Curt hitch bolts to the underside of the rear bumper beam which in my opinion would make for a sturdier installation. The hitch has a 2000 lb towing/ 200 lb tongue weight capacity that you'll want to remain well below. You'll also need the following to complete your towing set-up: Trailer wiring harness,...

  • Fit Of Curt Class III Hitch Part # 13354 On 2007 Acura MDX With Rear Lower Trim
  • I looked up on the internet about a factory Rear Lower Trim piece for a 2007 Acura MDX. It listed a piece that fits into a cutout section on the rear bumper and it said that it will not fit with a trailer hitch. If this is the same as the piece you have it would have to be removed to be able to install the Curt Class III 2 Inch Hitch, part # 13354. You also mentioned a brush guard. A brush guard is usually located in the front of the vehicle. I am including a link to the installation...

Spray each of the rubber exhaust hangers in front of and...

  • The best hitch we have for towing with your 2020 Acura RDX is the Draw Tite part # 76268 which is is a Class III hitch with a 2 inch opening which has great towing capacities of 3,500 lb trailer towing capacity and installs easily. For trailer wiring you'd then want the easy to install and very reliable Tekonsha kit part # 118800. Since you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch...

  • Trailer Lights Work then Shut Off Using Wiring Harness 118424 on a 2012 Acura MDX
  • You should not require additional fuses or relays to install the trailer wiring harness # 118424 unless those items are missing on your 2012 Acura MDX. In some cases, there is a relay needed that can only be obtained at an Acura dealer. Consult the vehicle owners manual for the locations of any fuses or relays related to the trailer wiring to check them. The fact that it worked at first then stopped tells me that it could still be a ground issue. You can try moving the converter ground...

  • Curt or T-One Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2014 Acura RDX
  • They both will actually install the exact same. They both use the same trailer wiring connector that's at the rear of your vehicle behind the interior trim panel. I would recommend going with the T-One kit part # 118569 over the Curt part # 56008 though since we have better luck with the T-One brand over the Curt brand in terms of long term reliability.

  • Is the Dealer Acura Relay Required to Install Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2014 Acura MDX
  • If your 2014 Acura MDX did not come with the factory tow package then you would likely need to get the relay from an Acura dealer to install trailer wiring harness # C56192. It is possible though that an auto parts store would have an aftermarket relay. You can check your vehicle owners manual for the relay location to see if it is present on your model.

  • Will Hitch Receiver for 2010 Nissan Rogue Fit on a 2014 Acura RDX
  • Since your hitch receiver is specifically designed to fit the Rogue and should not be altered to fit another vehicle, a hitch for a 2010 Nissan Rogue, like the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, # 75902, is not compatible with a 2014 Acura RDX. I have attached a link to all of the hitch receivers that are available for your 2014 Acura RDX. I personally recommend going with the Draw-Tite Class III Hitch Receiver, # 75784, for your RDX.
