Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Clear plus winter wiper blades here on our 2022 Toyota Rav4. It's gonna come with your passenger and driver's side. They install the same way, but we'll show you the passenger side today and this is going to give you that 16 inch passenger side as well as that 26 inch driver's side. It'll be a direct replacement.
Now these are gonna be a great wiper blade for those winter months. You can see the larger profile here is gonna help it push snow and maybe some ice out of the way. And that large rubber boot over the frame of the wiper blade, it's gonna keep it from getting gunked up with that snow and ice. Now with this, I don't tend to like the frame style as much. I think I still would go with this for those winter months though because of the protection and the size.
I just have found better results with a beam style. I just noticed less streaking on my own windshield but it may be different for the Rav4 and your vehicle. Getting it replaced though, is really simple. The factory blade, I'm just gonna use a trim tool to pop this tab up right there just because there's not a lot of room to get your fingernail in there. Once it's open you can just pop this off of the hook, easy like that, and make sure you have a towel down here.
You don't want this resting on your windshield or potentially even snapping back down and cracking the windshield. From there, we can just get this hooked right on like the old blade was. You'll feel it kind of click in, right about there, and then we can pull this back and give it a quick test. We'll compare it to that factory blade on the driver's side to see if we notice any difference in streaking and smoothness. So I'll activate these, and certainly sound smooth.
Taking a look at it here, I am noticing some minor streaks just on the edges, and that again is kind of the complaint I've had with frame style in the past is that I don't feel like it gets as good of pressure on the edges, but overall in the middle of the blade, it's getting good contact, it's not leaving streaks and the driver's side was. It may not show up on camera super well but in person you definitely notice a difference. And for those winter months, especially here in Missouri for us, I would definitely go with a winter style blade just because we do get a lot of snow, I park outside and that's been a problem for me in the past. So I like having this style to push some of that snow out of the way and not get so gunked up. I think it'll be a nice fit for your Rav4 in those winter months. Thanks for watching..

Designed to fit your vehicle.They do not wipe on the way up, and barely on the way down. Not a secure lock onto the bracket and very loud. They also left grease marks on my windshield where they stop on the upward. I wish I had installed them as soon as I got them but had them for 3 months before installing and now its too late to return them. I had to go out and buy new ones. I bought the same ones last year with similar problems but not as bad. Thought maybe it was just a fluke so I tried them again. But nope, worse. I do not recommend them.
Received your product and have installed the wiper blades. Only time will tell on quality.

Very poor quality,fasteners did not lock and wipers would pop off.They went into the trash.Walmart wipers were put on with no issues at half the cost.

Failed to work at highway speed. Left middle of area barely usable. On both sides. Will never buy this product again. Had to purchase new blades since we travel full time.

Same issues
I bought about 10 pair for a fleet of vehicles. I was dissatisfied with quality. Numerous pairs did not sit tight to the windshield. I went through 3 pair on my personal vehicle and none sat properly nor shed rain properly. Overall build quality was average at best. Would not recommend.

I live where there is a lot of trees and not getting stuff stuck in the blade is great.
