Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at and showing you how to replace the 22 inch driver's side wiper blade on your 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. This is gonna be the ClearPlus Intelli Curve wiper blade. Now the first thing you wanna do with this is actually go ahead and get the proper adapter in. The one that comes here is designed for the hook arms on quite a few vehicles, but your Silverado doesn't use that. So just flip this around and give it a push until it clicks out of place with your thumbs there.
And we can take this piece and just set it to the side. And now in your kit, you're gonna have a variety of different adapters. You wanna grab two of them. This longer piece with the push button on top, you can just take that longer end at the back and just pull that completely out like that. And just hang on to the side with the push button.
Then we're going to have this outer shell piece. There's two of these outer shell pieces. This one's a bit smaller than the other one, so grab that and feed it in with the holes facing forward at a pretty aggressive angle down. And then push down and you should hear a nice click. Everything will line up with the holes.
And now we can go ahead and just get this pushed in place right over top our ClearPlus blade. You'll hear a click. And now we can get 'em swapped out. Make sure you have a towel or something protective down over your windshield in case this does drop down. You want that layer of protection.
The old one just comes out by pushing that button and pulling out at the same time. And the new one will slot in its place. And as we're doing this, you may have better luck if you actually slot the adapter in first and then push the wiper blade in over top. It's a little harder to see it that way. Right there, make sure you've got that wiper in the correct orientation. You can move our towel, set this down and compare it to the passenger side, which still has our original blade that we replaced. And overall, both of them are working streak free but I am hearing a lot of squeaking from that passenger side and it's pretty silent over here on the driver's side. We're getting pretty even contact over the windshield and getting a good, clear view. So I think this is gonna be a really nice replacement and work well for your Silverado. Thanks for watching..

Love these wipers. Found them at a gas station when a wiper broke in the middle of a rain storm. Had previously had great difficulty finding a wiper that performed well on my wife’s 3 series BMW. When those wipers wore out and I returned to purchase another set, the gas station no longer carried them. I was so happy to find them on etrailer.com. And at a very reasonable price for purchase and shipping. Great wipers from a great vendor!

They started out fine like any new wiper should but within 6 months the driver side started skreetching under light rain conditions. Irritated. Rubber Must have dried out. Was expecting to last a year. It didn't happen. Went back to bosche blade.
Do not buy these for a Tesla model 3. They will fit the arms but as soon as you turn them on they will bang into the front trunk because they are too thick to tuck under the hood at the end of each wiper stroke. It will chip the paint and make a loud clunking sound and you will regret ever buying them. I reached out to the manufacturer about this and never got a reply. Total trash.
