Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Luma amber LED bulbs. Now, to ensure that these are a fit for your vehicle, you can always use the vehicle fit guide at etrailer.com. The replacement bulbs fit directly into original factory light sockets. So the base type is a 3156 or a T25 base. To install these you simply just slide them into the original factory light socket and that's all there is to it. LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights.
Now they last a lot longer, they burn brighter and they're much more efficient. With LEDs you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs and you don't have to worry about brittle filaments. Now, the bright amber light is produced by 42 LEDs so that's 21 LEDs per bulb.As you can see the LEDs go all the way around so light is emitted 360 degrees around each bulb. The LEDs feature a 50,000-hour life span. Now, when it comes to the measurements, the diameter is about 3/4 of an inch and then the overall length from edge-to-edge or tip-to-tip is about 2-1/4 inches long.
These bulbs replace bulb numbers 3156, 3156A, 3456. We're going to go ahead and hook it up to power and turn on the power source and turn off the overhead lights. Now, when it comes to the light output we're looking at 540 lumens per bulb so when combined, that's 1,080 lumens. These bulbs are designed for 12-volt systems. Power draw was taken at 14.3 volts and that was 0.26 amps or 3.72 watts.
That's going to do it for today's look at the Luma amber LED bulbs.
